I have lived in that neighborhood for three years and did not know this place was located in the shopping center with TJ Maxx. I had my sons graduation dinner there and we were all very impressed with the chef skills and the food. If I weren’t moving across state, I would be eating there once a week.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant out on a Sunday evening. From the moment we walked in, it was extremely smoky, (I know it’s hibachi but the vents should work!) felt dirty and grimy on the floors and the bathroom was not clean. The food took a while to cook and was average in my opinion. The following day my boyfriend and I became extremely ill, we’re certain we got food poisoning from this restaurant. This is a first for me dining in any restaurant in the US. Whatever is going on in the kitchen with cross contamination should be resolved. I personally do not recommend this restaurant and will not be back.

I rarely give reviews leave alone one star. We came here to celebrate our friends birthday and it was a disaster. Our hibachi chef didn’t check everyone’s order, he started cooking in flames burning our vegetables, and then meat. When I asked him if he could turn the temperature down as good was burning he lectured me on hibachi and said he is doing this for five years and I didn’t know. He continued to throw food on our plates, he mixed orders and told our friend to put the food from her plate to the other friends plate. I called the manager over as I didn’t want to argue with this rude cook. Me and my friends witnessing the situation explained to her and she offered me a discount. I told her that her cook needs to be replaced with someone else, as he ruined our birthday celebration. Surreal. Never going back here

Not a big fan of hibachi, but my partner thought it was a good idea to come here for our daughter’s 5th birthday. We enjoyed it more than her. Polite staff, great costumer service and yummy food- actually the best hibachi experience I’ve had. Our daughter said she’d return on her 16th birthday.

Most hibachi restaurants will discount the second meal. Sake does not do this. I would be fine paying more if it’s for a memorable restaurant but they’re just like all the other hibachi restaurants in the area. No point in going back when their competitors discount and the taste and experience are all the same.

Service is always very good. I ordered lobster and steak. The lobster was definitely way overcooked and crunchy, the steak was very good but I ordered med rare and it was med to med well. This is a great place just a bad chef day.
