Warning! They are understaffed but even if it takes a little longer than other restaurants, Sakera is worth dropping into! Took 5 people out for under $50 – that is hard to do at a sushi and hibachi grill. Food was tasty, rice with the hibachi was a little dry but nothing some delicious yum yum sauce didn’t fix. Sushi was great! I left very full and looking forward to the next time I could drop in.

It’s not too often that I’m in town to have lunch with my wife, but I get lucky every once in a while. My wife had been to this restaurant before with her coworkers and liked it. She said that I needed to try it so I said I would give it a go. The menu was vast and ranged in prices from inexpensive to take out a small loan for dinner. The Mrs. recommended the Chicken and Noodles so I gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised when it came out. Lots of food for the price. The chicken was so tender that you could cut it with a knife and the rice and noodles were done perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and tasty. There was a sauce that I dipped the chicken into and it was delicious. When I asked the waitress what the name of the sauce was, she said it was “Yum yum sauce”. Don’t know what was in it, but it was good. I would like to try other dishes, but I will remember to bring more money. Worth a try. Discounts for veterans.

Yum. I’m not a sushi fan, so I tried the deep-fat fried shrimp tempura roll. It was great. Also tasted hubby’s steak noodles. The steak and veges had a wonderful flavor.

They recently changed their menu, sushi list has been downgraded to next to nothing. They wouldn’t deep fry my California Roll? The first time we went it was excellent. This time was horrible. Ended up not getting any sushi. I’m sure a tie-breaker is coming….but how soon??

This place I only stopped in because there was nothing else in the area that was remotely healthy. I was here merely on business, little did I know there would be a nice sushi restaurants in the area that seem to have gained a lot of nice reviews. Coming from New York City, I wasn’t expecting a lot, and I got exactly what I thought. Come here for your mid west Japanese experience

Went last night to enjoy a night out with my friend. I would not recommend eating in. The food is amazing however the service and order is very very poor. We sat for 20 minutes waiting for drinks. About 20 minutes later I received my food but my friend did not. It took about an hour and some change for her food to come out. Once it did she has for a to go and the waiter (male) was very rude to her. I would recommend ordering takeout for here. No dining in. Again the food was awesome but the service and order of the restaurant was very very poor. This was my first time going to my expectations are very low for this place.

Great sushi and hibachi and I do not mean “for a small town.” This place is great. Their prices are fair and keep me coming back! I always get either the Captain America roll or chicken hibachi… depends what I’m feeling that day!
