Welcome to Saki Sushi & Grill. We are your premier Japanese restaurant in National City, CA. We are a family-owned business, who started our sushi restaurant journey with just a dream. A dream that little did we know would put the whole family to work. We have a Mexican-Japanese fusion to our products that is unique in our industry. We have been serving the community in Eastlake, Chula Vista since 2016, and the community of Rancho Bernardo since 2020. With 2020 being a rough year for everyone, we focused on hygiene and providing our customers a safe experience.

Very good service. The food is very spot on what I was expecting, very flavorful. It is a little pricey but it’s good. Recommend the mixed fried rice and the Manda’s roll. I usually don’t like cream cheese on my sushi because the flavor is very overpowering but it had just the right amount. Staff is very attentive, kept making sure everything was good. Restaurant was very clean including the bathrooms. Awesome experience

Service is always friendly, sushi comes out quickly. Great selection, they have Pepsi product fountain drinks. Bathrooms and whole restaurant is clean. It’s become a regular spot for us. I recommend the Monkey Roll and baked oyster appetizer.

My husband and I went here for dinner one day by mistake. It used to be another sushi place that we had never been to either but that one closed down and we didn’t realize it. However we are really happy that we came. First of all the service is top-notch. I don’t remember her name but she was just the right amount of attentive and hands-off. You know what I mean. She wasn’t standing over us the entire meal or trying to talk to us the whole time.

I’ve been looking for a sushi restaurant that makes a roll with fried banana and I finally found it. Saki Sushi & Grill’s monkey roll did not disappoint. I had a roll with fried banana years ago at a local sushi restaurant in Chula Vista but they went out of business. Since then, everytime I ate out for sushi I always asked the server or sushi chef if they had a roll with banana on it. They always look at me as if I were crazy. I’m so glad this place appreciates the perfect combination of fried banana with raw fish. It is seriously delicious! Nevertheless, the service was impeccable. The sushi chef was incredibly nice but not pushy at all (you know what I mean). The owner blew me away. He seemed incredibly humble and very interested in meeting client expectations. The entire place and ambiance was awesome, very clean and a social place you want to be in. 100% recommend this place. I shared the news with my sushi friend lovers, they came here, tried a couple of rolls (including the monkey roll) and they were blown away by freshness of it all. This place is the real deal when it comes to sushi!
