I would say this place is good but not great, the General Tso’s chicken was fantastic however they only offer it as an appetizer which I think is a huge miss as it would be a great entree. The sushi was just ok it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great, I felt that it was just lacking some flavor and some pop. The staff was great and very friendly and attentive. They do have many other options so I will for sure stop by again and try some other things.

After eating here several times, let me start by saying the food is always amazing. The sushi and hibachi are the reason I keep coming back. The service could use a little work. The waitresses run to your table and quickly run away before you can ask for what you need, even when you try to be quick. I understand being busy, but even when there are few guests, it is still like this. Amp up the service and this would absolutely be a 5 star review!

The hibachi is delicious, the service is excellent. Sakura is the best place to eat in Altus. Don’t let the exterior maintenance fool you – the atmosphere inside is quite nice, most importantly the food is Delicious. I sincerely appreciate how kind the waiters are .
