I ordered shrimp and scallops. The scallops and shrimp were so overcooked you could hardly cut with a fork. The mushrooms and broccoli were chard/burnt like it was forgotten about or way too hot of a pan. The service was OK my drink never got low. For the price of the food as much as eating at Shogun I will not eat here again.

Hands down the BEST Udon noodles and sweet carrots. I love their sushi and I always get sad on “no sushi Sundays”. I’ve been going since February 2018! I’ve never had bad food or service here. I love it but it does seem like their portions have gotten smaller. I still come from Asheville to here because I love the food, atmosphere and the wait staff are ALWAYS so nice, authentic in their service and attentive but not pushy or show up too often.

Don’t go if you’re hungry ! Went in was not very busy got sat had our drink orders taken and then when she asked if we were ready and we said we needed a couple minutes almost half an hour passed before we just left ! Watched other servers going to the few tables in the restaurant it was almost as if we were completely forgotten about. Not to mention 3 other people were sat and completely ignored in that time period !

The food is good but the waiting time is bad. I waited 45 min just to get teriyaki chicken. I noticed the taking out orders was getting ready before my order maybe that’s a faster way to get food from this place.

It’s my 3rd visit it’s very clean place with good service. I ordered udon vegetable soup, got dish with thick salty soy sauce. every ingredient taste the same soy sauce.
