Went here to celebrate a birthday and had a great dinner. I got the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and chicken liver as my appetizer. The food tasted great, my favorite item being the fried rice. Bonus points because they gave the birthday boy a free slice of cheesecake. Only complaint is there was a random odor that smelled like a bathroom that came out of nowhere, but it disappeared. Overall a great experience.

I really enjoyed myself here. My daughter took me out for brunch and it was well worth the ride. We were seated immediately. The waitress was very friendly. But our chef he was Amazing . He had us giggling the entire time. He was very friendly and had a great since of humor. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I will be going back to celebrate my birthday this weekend with friends. I think this establishment will be my new go to place for fresh cooked Japanese food.

We came here to celebrate our friend’s birthday, who loves japenese food. However, the food was tooo salty and sashimi set were not fresh, especially the squid. The squid tasted very weird and you could almost certain that it was not fresh.

Great service, came at the right time in which we were able to be seated right away. The kids always had a blast watching the cook do his trick in front of them. Food was ok. I thought the chicken was dry and the teriyaki sauce could have been more flavorful. The fried rice was delicious and the portions were great for the price we paid. I would go back only because my kids enjoyed it.

Surprised this established has over 4 stars. It could be the standard for the area and what people are use to. However, I found it to be below standard for the average hibachi restaurant. I had the chicken and shrimp hibachi which was edible, but lacked flavor. The rice was surprisingly good, but who goes to hibachi just for the rice? They cook it with yum yum sauce which I thought was odd, but turned out to be good. However, I can do without my rice being doused in a mayonnaise based sauce. They serve mushroom soup instead of the normal miso soup which wasn’t too tasteful. They also don’t have the option of noodles which every hibachi I ever been to has. Very disappointing. I understand most restaurants have experienced price increases, however their hibachi menu items are overpriced considering the low scale of options and lack of variety. Money would be better spent at the Sarku hibachi in the mall. I really wanted to like this establishment as it is close to home, however it just doesn’t hit the spot for me.

Food was delicious actually. Nice portions you are sure to leave out with a full stomach lol. My only problem was that a member of my party was from out of state (Delaware) Now my understanding of here in MD. Once you’re 21 you then should have a horizontal ID. Dont know if its a MD thing only , BUT HE WAS 21 and OLDER and it so happened that because his vertical 21 and over ID Is not complying with the horizontal rule of MD , HE COULD PURCHASE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. So does this mean that anyone from out of state, with a vertical ID , even if you clearly are 21 and over , YOU WONT BE ABLE TO PURCHASE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT THIS LOCATION WHICH TO ME IS BOGUS.

Dined at many Japanese steakhouses including Sakuras. Never had a bad experience where they burned the food. The waitress was nice but the Chef needs more culinary training. Definitely not kid friendly.
