We knew we wanted to stop in the outlets, and Japanese Steakhouse is a family crowd pleaser. So we stopped in on an early Thursday evening (could be considered a late lunch). We had 3 adults, a kid, and a toddler in our party. We sat with another family and our chef was great. Very sweet and worked to entertain our 3 year old grandson. I did the Filet, chicken and shrimp everything was well seasoned and good. Everyone else got New York Strip Steak with chicken. The meal was filling and entertaining.

The sushi lunch special was unfortunately very deceiving and disapointing both in quantity and quality. We were expecting makis but instead had small hosomakis. The quality of the fish was not fresh in our opinion. Overall, would not recommend for sushis.

Today Wife and I went to Sakura as she saw it and wanted to try it. My Wife never went to a Japanese restaurant before I told her the Chef will cook in front of us. Yes we got an awesome show for sure. Show wasn’t the only good thing the food was tasteful and delicious. My plate looked like a beautiful picture My Wife plate looked so damn good. Wife ordered Shrimp Flambe I don’t even eat shrimps but her plate looked so good. I ordered Teppanyaki Chicken and Steak combo with fried rice and chicken liver appetizer. I don’t live down here but what I know every visit from now on Sakura will be on our menu. Thanks Chef for an truly awesome show an experience. Our Server was also a gem great place for a hearty meal.

A hibachi chef should be a ray of sunshine, ours was grumpy, didn’t even communicate with us, did his cooking as if it he hated his job. The table had meat to be cooked at different temperatures, and that got him all confused… he eventually did get it right.

The most worst restaurant I’ve ever been in ocean city. The chef is grumpy and he was ignored us all the time even my kids was trying to have conversation with him but he was not gave up any response. The waitress was inconsiderate and the restaurant table is sticky and dirty. The food was just full of rice and the steak and chicken was tasteless. You gotta dump all the disgusting sauce to make it edible

They give you a ton of food for the money! We frequent Hibachi Restaurants frequently, Benihana being or go to place here in Pittsburgh. I must say Sakura’s servings were bigger. The chef did a wonderful job entertaining and some of my food was cooked perfectly. The steak and lobster were delicious. Unfortunately, the fried rice was not good, it was very dry and bland tasting. The shrimp and scallops were over cooked. The scallops were so over cooked they were inedible.
