I’d give them 10 stars if I could. The food is great! My husband and I enjoy their sushi on an almost weekly basis. I am absolutely obsessed with their hot and sour soup. It’s spicy and tasty without setting your mouth on fire like some places, and the veggies in the soup are pleasantly crunchy so you KNOW that is some fresh homemade soup. Their orange chicken and Singapore Mei fun are some of the best I’ve ever had. The service is outstanding. They’re so quick even when they’re busy and the couple who run the store are the best. They are always so nice and even remember our order. I know that even when I’m having a bad day I can walk in, see genuine smiling faces, and get fantastic food. I can’t count the times I’ve come here after a rough day at work, getting home from a long trip, or even on holidays, and gotten great food with a smile and it has helped to turn my day around.

I’m the kind of person that always ask for my order to be repeated to me before hanging up the phone. The lady verified my order both times, so I was not worried, and besides I ordered from there before plenty of times. I get home which is about 15 minutes away and I realize that my order was messed up. I immediately call back and informed her that my order was not correct. I also informed her that I’m allergic to rice so I couldn’t eat the food. She said if I wanted to get a new order with French fried I would have to pay an additional 4 dollars. I’m from New York and I know when I’m being scammed. I agreed to the 4 dollars increase for just plain French fries. When I get to the restaurant to pick up my correct order I confronted the owner/worker who took my order and asked how much was an order of sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice? She said 10.99. So I asked her that it cost 4 bucks more for sweet and sour chicken with french fries? I asked why is that? And her reply “the way we make them”. I didn’t know an order of sweet and sour chicken and french fries cost 14.99. That place is a scam, and a joke. I will never order from there again, and I will let everyone know as well that they’re horrible business people.

We placed a rather large order. Over 175.00. I had sushi and it was old. I got the spider roll and it was crusty and smelled very, very fishy. The teriyaki with tempura veggies and they were soggy and stale. I will never go there and spend my hard earned money…do better

Bought an order of the Fried Wontons, House Special Rice, and the Orange Chicken. Staff was super friendly and the Orange Chicken was amazing. However, the rice seemed off. Looking at other reviews in here a lot of people say the fried rice tastes like microwavable rice and I have to agree. Texture was off and there was little to no flavor. Their white sticky rice seems fresh so why the fried rice wasn’t is beyond me. Fried wontons were so-so as well. I’m in Plant City for work so I may give this place another shot and try a couple other items.

I write this as I sit here waiting for my food! It’s a Friday night and the place is busy! But that’s because the food is so delicious! It’s worth the wait for sure! The staff is super friendly and they work hard! And it shows in how tasty their food is! I recommend Sakura king 100% to anyone stopping off exit 19 in plant city!!
