Food has gone down hill. I have no clue what is in the shrimp shumai, but it’s not shrimp. And don’t waste your money on a poke bowl. Smallest portion bowl, ever. Total not worth the cost and tastes horrible…

After reading the first couple of reviews I thought to give this place a try. Well BIG mistake & a waste of 25$. I feel it was the worst experience ever. The lady at the front who took my order was very dry and unpleasant from the moment I walked in. I felt rushed when I was the only customer in there. After placing my order she said for me to come back in 15 minutes as if she did not want me waiting inside…okay cool. The energy was uncomfortable anyway. The biggest disappointment was when I saw the portion of size of my Fanastic Shrimp Bowl it is fill with rice and 5 baby shrimp smashed in at the top with little sprinkles of toppings. To put the icing on the cake I asked for shrimp sauce or spicy mayo which normally comes with any sushi roll or meal you order at a Japanese restaurant this lady responded as if she didn’t understand what I was asking for but then replied $1. Now I am not one to complain about anything, the customer service usually makes up for small things & be overlooked. In this case if I can give this restaurant a ZERO I would. After this writing this review I have completely lost my appetite. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere!

This is a wonderful little shop! The art and decorations really create a lovely atmosphere. Plus, the food was great. We ordered several different rolls of sushi as well as a few other things, and everything tasted superb. 10/10 would recommend.

I ordered a yum yum roll and a fancy roll. The total was $29.63 and I ordered right at 11, which is right when they opened because I thought it would be fresh. WRONG! I got sushi at a mall for cheaper and the quality was MUCH better. DO BETTER! Also, as far as the service, horrible as well! Lady had an attitude over the phone and when I went to pay she has an attitude as well. Very disappointing.

Absolutely fantastic Ramen. The broth was amazing. So much flavor! Edamame was fresh and delicious. We had sushi and sashimi as well that was delicious. The dragon fruit tea was tasty and refreshing. Service was quick and efficient and very friendly.

Ordered pork ramen and 2 sushi rolls. The sushi was as I expected…good, but nothing special. The ramen was awful. I could have thrown some spaghetti noodles in some chicken broth, added an overcooked boiled egg and two pieces of very dry pork, and had an equivalent eating experience for a whole lot less money.

Extremely overpriced for what it is, were it half the price I would review it less harshly. But, considering the price: the sushi rice is a weak approximation of what it should be, the teriyaki shrimp dinner is subpar and the chirashi sushi an embarrassment. Also, there was little to no eel in the eel and cucumber roll. It might be that there isn’t any competition in the area, because this place wouldn’t last a month in NYC or a day in Tokyo.

First of all I LOVE Sakura, especially their hibachi meals. Usually their sushi is wonderful but my last few orders of sushi that contained avocado (though, edible) they weren’t in the best of shape or the ripest. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever received in this world but I like a fresh avocado. Will I still go back? Of course, things happen. If I had more time I would have taken the sushi back to order something else but I’ll just remove the avacado this time.
