Absolutely stunning plating! Staff is friendly, quick, and attentive. We’ve been here 3 times, and this place is a place you will want to keep coming back to. I am definitely going to be a frequent flyer. This place has been great for lunch and dinner. We’ve had the ramen, steak and rice, sushi, fried ice-cream, and there’s not one plate that isn’t delicious. The Owner is also amazing! She did a custom food flower design on the plates. You don’t feel like you’re just a customer here. They take genuine time making your order to perfection and adding unique personal touches. You don’t this kind of service anywhere else these days at restaurants. The staff all takes great pride in their service and your experience. I love seeing the kids here. You can tell it’s a small, family owned business that puts a lot of love and attention into every thing they do from the food, decor, atmosphere, and experience.

Wonderful service. There was a small communication error and they went above and beyond to fix the issue. The food is great and the price is modest. I definitely recommend them over Taku. Their food is better and their prices are better. I love that they’re tucked back from the other businesses beside them, it makes you feel like you’re not even in Kokomo.

My husband and I tried Sakura for the first time today and it was the best Japanese food either of us have ever had. We enjoyed the filet mignon with scallops dinner, seaweed salad, lobster rangoon, and dynamite roll. Everything was excellent! The filet was so tender and cooked to perfection, the scallops almost melt in your mouth because they’re so soft and cooked wonderfully, the seaweed salad was not drenched in sesame oil like most places and it made it so much better, don’t even get me started on the rangoon’s they were amazing and they all had plenty of lobster, the dynamite roll was full of so many fresh and amazing flavors. We ordered this for takeout and although I was only in the building for a few minutes the staff was extremely friendly and greeted me immediately. A job well done to everyone there! We will definitely be going back!
