We’ve been going to Sakura for years and used to love it. The last couple times have been a disappointment. Service was nearly non existent until asked. Sushi has tasted different and not in a good way. I hope someday it’ll go back to the old restaurant we loved. Ps: the salad served before meals was my favorite, too bad they don’t serve it anymore.

I called and asked for the top 3 sushi rolls they sell as a surprise for my husband. I don’t normally like sushi….but i ate a few of the rainbow rolls & they were delicious. He loved them all. Super helpful for ordering with no clue!

Bad review. I’m not impressed. Food took so long to arrive (not sure if it’s understaffed, hence the long wait), my Bulgogi had that burnt/chard taste to it, the fried rice was burnt (my kid ended up puking it out and we hadn’t even made it out of the parking lot ♀️). Our 2 orders of sushi rolls came way later after we had already ate our main course, and I was already ready to leave. Yeah, they were not good either. Needless to say, I’m not coming back, just not for me. I tend to try a restaurant three times, just not this time. For what we had and to pay over $100, it was not worth it.

The fact that there was country music playing even though it was valley should have been my sign. The spray bottles in front of the sneeze gaurd and a storage just pouring out from the back. None of these things bothered me I sat and ordered the sushi roll special but got chefs special with shishimi. The rolls were okay, but the sashimi really showed the fish’s texture, and it seemed a little dry and warm. “Too warm,” I kept thinking, but I put more Wasabi and made it through.

Seem to be lots of shade in the comments if u dont like the sauce order a roll without it and if you think carrs sushi is better you have no idea what sushi is supposed to be. The food here is always good service is good the place is clean not sure what else a person could ask for.

The chicken had no actual flavor to it. The soba was very greasy, and the veggies were old. This is like fake Asian food. I don’t recommend going here. Ever. If you want good Asian food, find another place.

This little hole in the wall has a wonderful selection of sushi, Chinese, and Korean food. All of their menu items are custom made fresh when you order them. Appetizers, lunch, and dinner options will not disappoint. Beef bulgogi, chicken katsu, and veggie rolls are my personal favorites. Hubby and kids go tos are: Spicy Tuna Roll, Mt. McKinley Roll, and Samurai Roll.

Sakura fire roll was fire and literally on fire! So awesome! Also delicious, slightly spicy and sweet and crunchy $16. Miso soup was also great. Hot sake was good also. Good service too.
