Local favorite in downtown San Carlos. The show is good, the service is efficient, the food is good and the children’s meals are generous. The grill seating can get crowded during popular times, so reservations will be necessary. There is covered outdoor seating with heat lamps so it is possible to dine outside even during inclement weather. It will be loud during popular times so great place to go with group or kids. Usually get the couples special which is a good meal for 2. The show will very depending on the chef.

The food was good, but the show that the cook put on was great. It is entertaining, especially for the kids. Unfortunately, because he cooked on the same grill, everything some of us had to wait for our food, and the vegetables came once we were done with our meet and rice. So after all it is ok and it looked clean.

I was really expecting more about this place but it’s kinda disappointing to say the least. Don’t get me wrong the food is not that bad. I really liked how they made the fried rice, it tasted good. But the rest is a little mediocre. It’s a bit pricey, the restaurant is small.

Sakura in San Carlos was an excellent meal and an excellent show!! We went for lunch on a Friday, and our reservation was last minute for 6. They were able to accommodate us with no issues! It was a work celebration lunch with coworkers.

We visited this place with my family. It was gorgeous weather. It’s really nice because the streets are closed off to cars. There are restaurants and shops all along where Sakura Tepanyaki is located. It is like Benihana, just not as fancy, or pricey. The food is delicious! The service is only ok. I had to keep asking the waitress for more water, straws, etc. They needa better waitress. The food is delicious though!

Went tonight with our daughter and had a very good experience. She loved the show, which seemed a bit more enthusiastic than our last visit to Benihana. We got the couples combo dinner plus some nigiri for my daughter. It was a good value and surprisingly quick. Not fancy, but seemed fun. Our food was fine.
