Was super excited to see this place finally opened and decided to dine in right as happy hour had started this past weekend. Interior setting is beautifully decorated and was greeted to self seat and chose the nice little corner spot by the neon sign. Jesus our server was nice and attentive informing us about their selection in drinks and special, checking in to see how we’re doing, thanks Jesus!

This place is great! The Atmosphere is super chill & vibey, but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and especially what they’re talking about. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some sushi/Japanese classics (Yakitori is delish) and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Anybody can dine here (casual/fine) It can be a bit pricey if on a budget. But worth it and they do different deals on different nights (happy hour) so it’s worth checking them out Highly recommended. Will be coming back soon

One of the ugliest Salmon I’ve ever had, very mushy, looked like it was freezer burned or refrozen too many times. For 9$ an order, I was expecting much better. The waiter was a bit too attentive, coming over interrupting every few minutes. Having the table on the rock flooring caused a very annoying wobble on the small table.

yall. do yourselves a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in happy valley! the service is unmatched. the staff truly cares about your experience and especially the manager kyle who came by our table and made sure everything was to our standards. The food is absolutely amazing!! everything we tasted melted in other mouths. the summer roll was so so good, and of course the ebi tem roll. absolutely the best sushi my friends and i agreed we have had in a while. highly recommend!!

My family and I are so excited for a great sushi place in Happy Valley. We happened stop by during their soft opening. The sushi was top notch, the drinks were excellent, and Evan our waiter and Kyle the manager made our dining experience so warm and inviting. I already made plans to come back with family and friends. The decor is beautiful. We have been waiting for this place to open so I am beyond grateful it finally has. Thank you Sakura for being in our neighborhood. We needed you!

A good restaurant for first date or meetups but otherwise nothing too special. We order basic rolls which were california and spicy salmon, rolls were fresh but was dry and hard. Spicy mayo was basically straight mayo. For the price I think there are better spots around the area.

Came here for a nice dinner with my family and I gotta say, for a soft opening they really know how to handle stressful situations and still provide great customer care! They had a party of 18 come in, with it mostly being children, and they handled it extremely well! My water was never fully empty, the server Helen was delightful, and the yakitori was to die for. Prices are a bit steep, but you pay for quality, and it felt worth the price! We also tried the Dragon sushi roll and the eel on top was an awesome touch to an already tasty roll. You can tell that the staff is fairly new, but they have a good work attitude for only being open for a few days. Kudos to all of them! And I cant forget to mention the atmosphere. By far the star of the show! All in all, it was a delightful experience and I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

delicious sushi at a range of prices. everything was great, & came to the table very fast. our waiter was kind & made sure we got everything we needed. the owner/ manager seemed a bit insensitive & a couple times we heard him speaking in a non professional way to his employees, but that could possibly be brushed aside as opening stress.
