Sala Thai is a wonderful family-owned Thai restaurant in a part of town that doesn’t serve food. I believe their sister business is Aroy Thai in O’Fallon. I only ever order the chicken pad thai and my husband always wishes he had when he orders something else (because the pad thai is the best thing on the menu).

At first I thought they permanently closed! Their sign is gone, but the food is still good and they’re still open. Lunched with my kiddos and we enjoyed it. A little ticked off that there’s no notification of a service charge for using a card (of any type, debit or credit.) Please add a drunken noodles lunch special!

Sala Thai is fantastic. They are fast, polite, and reasonably priced. The food is healthy, tasty, and as spicy as you want (they have a scale you can choose your spice level). I had the country fried general tso chicken and it was incredible.

This is not authentic Thai food. I ordered the panang curry with vegetables. It is greasy. Lacks traditional Thai flavors and was just really disappointing. I will never eat here again. If you are looking for authentic Thai food this is not the right restaurant for you.
