Excellent hole in the wall fish spot that’s Muslim and very good. They haven’t been able to get some of the fish they used to have, but they’re still legit because the fried whole catfish I just had was very good and fresh tasting so I’ll be back definitely because they’re always professional and top notch and never rude.

I always get the Fish Salad. The amount of fish that they put on it is enough to make two salads! The customer service is awesome and they always make sure to bag your order correctly including condiments. This place is definitely worth a try.

I purchased a fried chicken breast which was over cooked. My fried flounder was ok, but didn’t eat all if it either. I declined fries with my order and doubled my coleslaw. I must say the business is thriving.

The quantity was very appropriate. The food was delicious however the hush puppies were a bit overcooked and onion rings. I have looking for a good fish spot for a while and read all the positive reviews and saw the pictures of the food which made me decide to choose Salaam. I am very passionate about good and crispy golden onion rings and hush puppies. I am hopeful the next time the sides will look like the pics. However, overall it was a good experience and I love family-owned businesses. My family owned to a couple of businesses one of which was a restaurant. I live in Covington which is about an hour’s drive to Saalam in Griffin. I look forward to my next visit and also considered today was Saturday which is a busy day for restaurants. Thanks, for some good country-style fish and slaw, was also very palatable.

This restaurant is a staple in Griffin. The fish isn’t lacking salt. The fish is fried to perfection. We always get the fish salad with thousand dressing. Been coming since I was a child.
