Enjoyed my turkey sandwich and chicken wild rice soup. Food was prepared fast but still quality, especially the bread!

I come to this place EVERY time I’m in town. They have THE BEST Beer Cheese soup I’ve ever had, and their fresh made rolls are AMAZING!

I dined here 4 years ago and again recently. Sadly, I suspect there is new ownership since the last time I have been simply due to the ultra processed food. What a gem this place used to be.

The portions at this place are fairly small for the price. The food tastes very average. Their enchiladas are far from being anything like Mexican. This time I had a small taco salad which was very small in portion and paying 8 dollars for some Doritos with lettuce, beef and a few toppings seemed overpriced. If it tasted exceptional I definitely wouldn’t complain about the prices.

The place is decent. The people working there are “ok” not super friendly. I had a chopped salad. Bag lettuce but fresh and an enchiladas that was pulled out of the refrigerator and microwaved in a to go container. It was ok. The price seems very reasonable and I waited about 5 minutes at lunch time.

Over baked potatoes, three ingredient iceberg lettuce salad and goopy Campbell’s soup? Yuk…

I was pleasantly surprised by this little find. Accessible via the downtown subway, which is perfect during the winter, Salad Brothers has very good food with a homemade style, and low prices competitive with the cafeteria at the Mayo Clinic. I think I was most impressed with the friendly service. The gentleman who helped us was quick, professional, and knowledgeable about the restaurant. It became very apparent that this is a staple stop for the locals, who he knew by name, all the more adding to the local charm. I definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, and be sure to grab plenty of bread sticks to the right of the soda fountain (which he was quick to replenish with more straight from the oven when notified they were running low).

What happened to their customer service? Today more than every, service is as important as the food for any restaurant. We were visitors to Rochester and Salad Brothers every 90 days for years and years. We just returned after after 3 years away and went there twice in three days. They were not friendly, engaging, or helpful in any way. This is A HUGE surprise! They used to talk to you and try to help in any way they could. As of today, we still like their food but are VERY disappointed in their people.

Good soup, and sandwich. Tucked in the corner of the upper level of a shopping area, it’s worth looking for. I had a French dip sandwich and wild rice soup. The sandwich was good, the roll was fresh baked and the meat was tasty. The soup was creamy and delicious. I’d recommend for a quick bite if you’re in the area.
