I used to frequent Salerno’s at the previous location when I lived in the area in the late 90s and always have enjoyed their food. My favorite dish is the Chicken Lilian. After so many years, whenever I’m in the area, I always try to come back. Tonight was very delightful and the Chicken Lilian was just like I remembered it. My wife enjoyed the Tuscany with blackened shrimp and tonight’s special was selected $20 bottles of wine, and we opted for the Hahn Merlot 2020. Dessert was good pictured below, tiramisu and cake of the cow.

I absolutely LOVE the food here! Unique twist on some of the dishes. My favorite is the Shrimp Alfredo. Their house salad is amazing. My husband loves the Pecan crusted chicken with an orange basil sauce. You will not leave hungry! The tiramisu is more of a cake and not traditional style but it works and the flavor is great! I do wish it was a little more cozy and more intimate feeling as its a huge space with concrete floors but that is definitely not going to stop me from giving them my business.

We ordered online and the food was amazing! Everything from the garlic bread to our entrees and dessert were some of the best Italian food we’ve had. This was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back. The portion size on the pasta entree was very generous and the bread pudding was enough for 2 people.

Our group has been going to Salerno’s for 20+ years w nothing but great food and service. However this evening I came in and requested a table for 14 in the bar. Aaron, the new owner, accosted me because I didn’t call ahead. Keep in mind there were plenty of tables the whole night. Had our group not been there the bar would have pretty much empty. Mike Salerno would not have acted that way to us. Never going back. Makes me sad.

Ive eaten Salernos on a number of occasion at its previous location before a long time ago. Was never really impressed with the food. Decided to get food from here on whim. We saw that there are new owners and thought maybe it is different or improved. The food looks beautiful and smells delicious. We were just disappointed with everything, even down to the bread. Everything was so unbelievably bland. All of it. So odd to us….

So everything was decent. The restaurant had a great vibe for a Thursday night and was buzzing. We had crab claws for our first course and they were overcooked. I had the sampler plater with lasagna spaghetti and meatball and gnocchi. The lasagna and gnocchi were great. Meatball was a bit hard on the outside and overcooked. My wife has lasagna and loved it. The bread was amazingly good and the sauce was tasty. Weird service but over all ok. Will try it again.
