Very disappointed with recent order. Asked for well done but was not made per request. Had to bake extra at home. While waiting for the pie to crisp up we went for the mozzarella sticks and again was disappointed to see how soggy they were.

Worst pizza I ever had burnt but still undercooked in some spots. From the first bite was a salty burnt mess. Asked employee working there for another slice and he said he don’t think it’s burnt. Then proceeds to lift up the rest of the pie saying that’s how they are. My friends plain slice was not burnt at all but my plain was. Definitely will not be back here wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. TERRIBLE pizza and customer service. Wish I used my credit card so I could have gotten my money back was a waste of my time money and the pizza I did eat layed on my stomach. Should have went to Dunkin and gotten a bagel would’ve been way better then this mess

My three year old grandson isn’t feeling well today and asked for a white pizza so I picked one up a few minutes ago from Salerno’s Pizzeria. I’m a new customer for Salerno’s Pizzeria and am very impressed by their friendly atmosphere, customer service and the high quality of their pizza. It is absolutely delicious. My wife just said I made our grandson very happy with the pizza. Actually it is the folks at Salerno’s Pizzeria that did so. My family will definitely be back, again and again, as a regular customer. When Salerno’s first opened, it was one of the best pizzerias in the area. Now, it is hit or miss experiences. I guess it depends on who is making your order. Pizza quality fluctuates with crust being either very well done to the point in which it is burnt and crumbles to very doughy and chewy. Sauce has been very acidic the past 2 times we ordered as well. My son ordered a chicken sandwich and asked for no tomato and to add bacon. He received a roll with a fried chicken cutlet and nothing else. No lettuce, cheese, bacon, or mayo. Wasn’t the first time the order was wrong, either.

I started coming here about a year ago after taking a job in the area. Salerno’s has been consistently awesome every single time I go which is at least once a week. I have had pizzas, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, their paninos, and everything I have had has been awesome! They greet me by name every time I come in. They are great people who truly care that you enjoy what they prepare for you. This is not you average restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about Salerno’s! Highly recommend!!

This is our go to pizzeria, we literally drive 25 minutes each way from Tinton Falls to come here. Their Sicilian is better than L&B Spumoni Gardens and margarita pie is incredible too. Also the eggplant rollatini is the best I’ve ever had.

I came into Salerno’s not too long ago and saw that they did not have much of anything left in their display case, so I figured they may refill it for customers who would like to dine-in at their location. When I asked the young woman at the counter how long it would take to make three Sicilian slices of pizza, which I assumed they would make as a pie and then I would get it when they put it on display, she said to me “Yeah, we’re not going to do that” and laughed to the side, as if to mock me for asking a question like that. I asked a simple question, and she gave me a rude and judgmental response. My family and I have been going to Salerno’s ever since it opened, but after this encounter, I doubt I will ever again. If you want to keep customers, that is not how they should be treated.
