Sally Ann’s has such a cool vibe! It’s very retro yet modern. I love the bar area and the implemented ordering method. We ordered a latte, their burger, potatoes, and avocado toast. I absolutely loved their potatoes. My husband liked their burger as well. I hated their avocado toast as it was quite bland. The service is good but once you’re seated and have received your food, no one really comes to ask how things are – I find that a bit strange for a restaurant.

I’m a fan of this place. It’s one of many offerings from the DeShantz group. The only reason the food gets a 4 is the kitchen was closed when we visited. The staff is great here, drinks creative and worth the experience. Decor also gets high marks from me. Hope you get to experience it as they’re experimenting with the hours a bit.

As much as we would like to say we enjoyed this place, it was not worth the hype. The reservation aspect is obnoxious. We showed up & was told there would be a 30 min wait without a reservation (not terrible), but we didn’t have time to wait so we made a reservation for the next day. We got there about 20 mins earlier than our reservation & just wanted to grab a coffee from them while we wait. We were told me could order coffee, but it needed to be to-go. Also fine, but it felt like we couldn’t even be around until our reservation time. When we finally sat down (our server was great), it was so tightly crammed. The prices were insanely high & the food wasn’t worth the price. (French toast (doesn’t come with a side), potato side & egg side) Mediocre at best. We got a breakfast margarita that was also overpriced & SO small. We won’t be back for the food & wouldn’t recommend, unfortunately. But 5 starts for the hazelnut creme brûlée coffee!

Let me start off by saying the food was delicious. Best latte Ive ever had. The lavendar in it was fantastic. We tried the Quiche, cinnamon roll, Frankenberry Waffle (kids loved the edible glitter on this) the salmon toast and a few other things. The food is delicious but slightly over priced. The Cinnamon rolls (Although large) should NOT be $16. I definitely thought it would be bigger for that price. It was however delicious and my kids ate it up before we could get a photo. The Quiche was large, flavorful and the crust was perfect and flakey however the lettuce on the plate needed dressing or something. Basically seemed like they just put a handful of mixed greens to fill the plate so that you didn’t feel bad paying so much for 1 piece of Quiche and so that you wouldnt have such an empty plate. It would have been better with maybe a few pieces of cucumber and tomato with the greens and some dressing.

Wish I could give Sally Ann’s more than 5 stars! Who wouldn’t want to brunch under a disco ball with a live DJ spinning? The vibe at Sally Ann’s is electric. It is so bright and lively there. And to make it even better – the food and drinks are delicious!

The Dechantz group hit it out of the park with this one. Staff is incredible, and the food is even better. Creative seasonal drinks, too. Try the breakfast sandwich and the bougie hash brown, but everything is incredible. Trust me, I’ve tried it all!

Sally Ann’s is such a cute diner! I would drive by it a couple times a week, and I thought to myself “how fun and inviting does that diner look? I have to stop in!” I was so glad I did. You are welcomed by bright and retro decor, plants, vintage arcade games, and a coffee bar! It is easy to order, you just walk up and place your order, pick a table, and the bring the food to you. They have delicious coffee – La Colombe, with I believe is a Pittsburgh local coffee brand. You will enjoy it!

First time here and I have no complaints. The website said that there is no need for reservations and we went on a Saturday at noon and we sat right away. Inside it’s not big but it has a variety of seating options: the bar is pretty big to be a place that’s open from 8am to 3pm but you can eat at the bar so that’s not a problem, across from the bar there is a long high top counter with stools, then there are regular tables, more High tops for 2 people, and very cute booths. The atmosphere is a mix between natural materials and neon signs and a very fun disco ball in the center. The environment is very well thought and appealing.
