Went in for the first time for a Tuesday lunch, after recommendations. Place was really quiet, service was great.

Katrina served me and four of my girlfriends tonight and she was fabulous. Recommended items on the menu and how to elevate them (extra cheese on the pizza!!). She had such a positive attitude we wanted her to sit with us!

So I was really excited to try the spot because it has so many good reviews and it seems like a very popular spot in Stamford. When I walked in it wasn’t what I expected. I thought it was more of a grab and go style but it’s an actual restaurant. There is a host and they walk you to your table. I sat the bar and I had a great server I didn’t get his name. I ordered a regular pie and added chicken to it. I’m used to New York style pizza where there’s a cheese pull a nice crust super saucy and flavorful. This pizza didn’t taste like anything I had to add a lot of Parmesan cheese, oregano and garlic to make it taste better. The waiter did tell me that it’s a New Haven style pizza. I didn’t really know what that meant but now that I do, this is not a pizza spot that I would go to again.

Ordered a small cheese pizza. When I opened the box up it was completely burnt edges and all on the bottom. I can’t believe they served that to me. It’s already a thin crust. The pizza was not edible. No quality checks…clearly!! What an absolute waste of money. Shame on you Sally’s Pizza.

I love its thin and crispy pizza! Yes, it’s totally different from New York style. If you are from anywhere but NYC, you’re likely to prefer this New Haven style.

Large pizza says 2-3 served, but it’ll easily feed 4. The chicken wings were tasty, but not a must do. The pizza was crunchy, topped with the perfect amount of cupping pepperoni and basil. The service was attentive without disturbing. Root beer was great. The Wooster Street Martini was very tasty as well. Nice sports bar vibe with just enough wine bar boujee.

Great new lunch deals for dine in. Pizza, sandwich…you decide. I got the chicken caprese. Reminds me of my childhood with a juicy thick and crunchy chicken filet. Hit all the right spots.

Absolutely amazing pizza and an amazing staff. They were friendly as hell and our server was top notch. It’s great to go to a place where you can tell the staff from top to bottom takes great pride in the establishment and this is one of them. The apizza itself was excellent too. I just ordered a cheese pie and the sauce is the true star. They use slightly more sauce than other places and I understand why, the sauce was fresh as hell and just truly atand out. I go to pizza places across the country and have Sally’s in my top 3 with John’s of Bleecker Street and Pequod’s in Chicago.
