It’s really great to find actual New York style pizza in the hills of North Carolina. I recommend adding extra sauce. The only small thing I question is, normally the crust is a bit thicker at the edge then tapper to thin towards the center. It’s not at all a deal breaker just a personal preference. Definitely my new go to pizza spot in Murphy.

I’m normally not a NY style kinda pizza guy. But after it was suggested by a local that lives in Murphy, my friend and I decided to give it a shot. I gotta say it was one the best thinner crust pizzas I’ve Had. And I’m a pizza kinda guy My buddy got the spaghetti with meatballs and absolutely loved it. Our server was amazing and the speed and and price was great. Will definitely return when back to Murphy

Definitely the best pizza I’ve had in these parts, which is not saying much, but it is saying something. The crust was thin and crisp, with acceptable flavor. The jalapeño poppers were okay. The sauce with it was tasteless. The pizza sauce was bland. The cheese was a bit salty. The service was very slow. There was no music. They charge for using plastic to pay. It looks like most of their business is take-out. I will return because of the crust and the friendly owner.

Listen. A picture does not do the delicious pizza I had justice. The pizza at Sals is the best in Murphy hands down. I have had pizza all over the country and I know the taste of authentic pizza when I get it. Sals was soooooo delicious I told everyone about them. I highly recommend.

I just love Sal’s PIZZA! I pass by them all the time when I go to Murphy, NC and haven’t stopped in until today. I am originally from Brooklyn and just had to taste their “Brooklyn Style” pizza. In Blairsville, there are a few pizza places that claim they have the best pizza…right. So, I was doubtful until today. My husband and I tried the “White” pizza which is mozzarella and dollops of ricotta for those that don’t know what a white pizza is. Boy, was I very impressed. I guarantee any New Yorker would agree this is the BEST pizza in this side of the Mountains. Next time we stop by…their regular Cheese Pizza for lunch! Thanks Sal for making me feel at HOME ❤️
