We were on the road traveling to the beach and needed some Italian for dinner. It was 6:45 on a Friday night and all of the restaurants were full. We found Sal’s and had a modest 15 minute wait. The restaurant is large on the inside with several rooms in series. There is space for large groups and there were groups of 20 or more including a wedding rehearsal dinner behind us. We were surprised to still get excellent and personal service from our waiter. I enjoyed the special Super Grouper with a glass of Montepulciano. It was excellent! And my daughter had rigatoni with sausage in a creamy red sauce. We both enjoyed and we heard nothing but compliments from the many people around us. I recommend the food and the service, kid and group friendly, but not a place for a romantic date night. Enjoy!

The salad was basic. The bread was okay. The shells were great!, with fresh sauce and great use of cheese! The service was fast. The restaurant is quite large and decorated nicely. There is a variety of seating for different size groups. The murals outside are attractive.

The food was excellent, everything we ordered were on point and lived up to my high expectations. I’d say the only nitpick was that the bread wasn’t warm and the waitress was a bit hard to understand. Even so we still enjoyed the experience and will definitely visit again.

As other reviews state, everything seemed basic to me. Like a restaurant that was once amazing but needs reinvention. The waitstaff didn’t even pour the oil for the bread.

What a special place to have dinner! We were greeted with lots of smiles and were surprised by how large it was inside. There were so many menu items, and looking at everyone’s dishes, you could see they don’t skimp on the serving size. We ended up sharing a meal so we would have room for a dessert. The food was very tasty! Our waiter, Manuel, was checking up on us frequently to make sure we were happy with our dishes and did not feel rushed in any way.

We arrived from a looong drive and due to reviews this was our first stop. We arrived after 9p and were so happy to get a quality meal at that time of night. The process were great. Look at how much sea food is in the pasta for 25.99! My son had shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and we finished with their homemade tiramisu. What a large serving but be forewarned, there’s a lot of alcohol in it.
