Very nice location. Food is just mediocre. Got the Italian salad and it probably would have been better if they cut the ingredients a bit rather than whole large olives and sardines. The pizza was super greasy. Waitress was definitely not busy but only came out to check on us once.

Food was beautiful but lacked depth of flavor and chicken was a bit dry

I drive 2.5 hrs from DC to just to eat here, every summer. They make the best sambuca mussels. Simply heavenly! The Emma Rosa and the tiramisu are also a must try. The team is so friendly and the atmosphere’s so relaxing on the terrace, I am a die hard fan for life! Thank you for being amazing!

We left the Fridays After 5 early so we could get a table. We were seated outside right away @ 725pm. 15 minutes later we were brought room temperature water and our order was finally taken (garlic bread, gnocchi allessandro and chicken marsala). Few minutes later cold bread and dipping oil were brought to the table. And then a large plate of warm garlic bread (quite yummy although awkwardly large – we cut it into manageable slices with the butter knife).

Very friendly service. We had calamari and pasta, both with the pink lady sauce. The sauce was very pleasant. Interestingly the ravioli was a much smaller portion compare to the pappardelle despite a very similar price. I wouldn’t say it was the best pasta in town. The tiramisu is definitely unexpectedly weird and we were not so happy about it. But it was an ok dinner overall.

Had a long day, wanted a nice Italian meal but something lite. I found this gem. I enjoyed the Prosciutto and fresh mellon to start. Second i had the fried Calamari. Both dishes were light, perfectly seasoned and didnt over fill me but hit the spot. My waitress was new to the country, she was awsome, polite, very helpful and most importantly she was willing to talk a bit, something we all lost the ability to do with this Virus. She made my meal and experience better. Finally a nice cup of black espresso, strong just the way i like it. If your in Charlottesville give it a try….. you wont be disappointed, I wasnt!

Once we were seated, no one came back to serve us bread or water nor our order. After 10 minutes, a family was seated near us and was immediately serviced bread and water. Ask if our server was coming they said yes. Waited an additional 15 minutes and no server ever came so we left.
