Just like the other Sal’s restaurants, Sal’s Express has really good pizza! It’s pizza by the slice as well as various other Italian dishes in a counter service style restaurant. The pizza was very good. We tried the baked ziti and sausage pizzas. The interior was small but very nicely decorated with just a few tables, and it has outdoor seating as well. A very enjoyable experience.

Casual eat in or take out. Italian like grandma made. Eggplant parmesan was delicious and huge. Garlic knots are also big and emphasize the garlic. Family run. Nice people. We enjoyed our dinner and had leftovers for today.

Ordered a pizza online called one hour and 30 minutes after the order was placed and they said they did not have the order and no delivery driver. So we reordered via phone and was told to pick up. Owner(I’m guessing) said sorry And offered us a 2 l of soda or a bottle of water we don’t drink soda and we had to ask for our delivery fee back and got shorted 21 cents. Just moved in down the street looking for a pizza place…..still lookiing

I rate this establishment’s customer service 2 stars, Tho the pizza is easily 4 stars. I came in on December 3rd around 11am to order a cheap and delicious lunch. I was greeted by a flustered blonde woman in her 40s at the cash register, she had a attitude when I asked the prices of singular slices of pizza, have in mind nowhere in this restaurant does it list prices of these slices. Not in the paper menu or the electronic menu overhead. My significant other and I had gave each other a look decided to pass on this establishment due to the poor customer service.

They gave a cheese calzone to a vegetarian with same food as the meat. Work in the plaza and would eat there a lot but I’d never go back again. They did offer me the most bogus “I’m sorry” I ever heard. None of us will ever order from there again
