This place is cash only. They don’t give you a receipt. $8.11 a slice for specialty pizzas at the time I went. Handed a $20 bill. Got $2 back – I only thought about it when I got back to my car. Where did the other $1.78 go? Instant 1 star for the dishonesty. Looking at the other reviews, looks like he’s swindled others the same way.

Went there after the bars on Saturday night for my sisters bachelorette party, I ordered two large pizzas and they charged me 122.13. I have tried calling everyday since and I don’t live in the cities and unable to go there. Pizzas online say it is 33 and my bank told me the initial charge was 55 then 67 was added on (like they tipped themselves). I really didn’t want to leave a bad review because it’s not a bad spot but I have no other way of contacting. I want to make sure they got the money FOR THE PIZZA but I did not tip 67 for already made pizza that they tossed in the oven for 3 mins and hand off to me. I don’t know if they feel they can take advantage of people drinking after the bars but make sure you get a receipt because someone there is can not be trusted.

This place doesn’t have done in, but the pizza is super fire. I haven’t been here in years. The location is very convenient right in front of the light rail…There is a little language barrier with customer service. Amazing Pizza which gained five stars. They don’t take cards!!!! ATM in the corner by door when you walk in… ☀️

The pizza was ok for after bars but the service and presentation was terrible. The pizza was literally piled upon itself and no indication of what type of pizza and when I asked the employee I was given short answers and seemed to be bothering her when we were the only customers in there.

Super good New York style pizza – there’s a bit of a language barrier with some staff but they are really friendly. The house on the page don’t reflect their actual hours tho – they didn’t open until 2pm today even though it said 11. Highly recommend a simple slice of cheese pizza!

Everything about Sal’s on Fifth is adequate. They’re open until 3:30 so you can get food well after bar close. Keep in mind this will give you a bar close clientele at that hour. The pizza is decent with no frills and a solid taste. The space is fairly clean. The biggest selling point on Sal’s is that it is easy. It’s right by the light rail. It’s right down town. The lines move fast.

The pizza was good for the price.. It’s what you expect from a small pizza place. They other options like sandwiches, gyros, and burgers. Stromboli in three different fillings..I had the meat lovers one and it was good! If you find yourself down in that neck of the woods… Go to Sal’s and grab a slice before heading to your big event in downtown Mpls!

Near the corner of Hennepin and 5th behind the train station. Good selection and price for a New York style pizza. A slice ( 1/8 of a large pie ) and coke for less than $6.00. The industrial setting seats about 30 people with standing stations at the rear of the restaurant. Good meat to cheese ratio with just enough garlic.
