I am impressed by how close this resembles actual NYC style pizza. If the base of oven were a bit hotter the crust wouldn’t have as much flop. That would definitely take this to the next level. $7.52 for two slices is bit above market value I would say. Good stuff nonetheless

I love Sal’s, however the price increases over the last year have now made it unaffordable and disappointing. Their 8″ lunch sandwich combo used to be $8 something and @ $10 with tax. Unfortunately now it’s $15.49 w/ tax and higher with tip, which is higher by a couple bucks than it even shows on the online menu and higher than if one were to order through door dash. I routinely have ordered directly by calling and then picking up but may not do so again as that price is now comparable to ordering something at Hurricanes game, not a lunch combo. I will however say though that the food is great, just not within reach anymore. : (

Hello! I ordered two personal specialty pizzas online for pickup about 30/45 mins before closing. This was to be me and my wife’s dinner after a long drive back home. We should have checked before leaving but mind you it was late into the evening and we were tired from the drive. My wife’s pizza was correct to what she ordered. My pizza was to be a Deluxe specialty, but once we got back home it was just a plain cheese pizza.

The menu was more extensive than I anticipated. My wife and I both got the buffalo chicken wrap meal with fries. It was very good. The fries were crispy the way I like them. The one employee that was there was very polite and helpful. We will go again.

Pretty decent NY style slices/sizes for the cost. But don’t get a fountain drink here unless you want to pay over $3 when you can go 100 yards down the road to the gas station and get a bigger size drink (and more options) for less than half that price.

Terrible! My husband picked up pizza there, paid over $60 for 2 pizzas. The “Chicago Deep Dish” was NOT Chicago style deep dish. Floppy and wet. Not the true biscuity layers of true Chicago deep dish. The Margherita hand tossed pizza we got for the kids was an even worse wet disaster. Literally had a puddle of fluids in the middle of it and all the toppings slid off leaving a plain piece of dough. Yuck. My kids rarely turn their nose up at pizza, but they wouldn’t touch this stuff.
