Not sure if there was a management change or not, but the food quality has gone downhill significantly, the price went up significantly, and customer service is terrible. I ordered 3 large pizzas 1 topping each, Togo, and I went in to pick up and they were $71. That’s insane to me. I walked in with a smile and tried to make pleasant conversation with the manager about day to day as it was slower, but he was having none of it and his greeting was “what do you want.” I can understand $25 a pizza if the pizza is quality, but for this level of customer service and this quality of food, I’m good.

Seems to be very recent ownership change. Beautiful restaurant. Very very new serving staff, but they tried. Had a pizza and a salad, both were excellent. Had enough to take some home and with a couple of drinks it was under 60 bucks. Very good value and a nice quiet place to enjoy a very good meal.

Waitress was unbelievable. She was working alone she had about 5 tables plus us. Still provided great service and was so friendly and attentive to us All. She was also our pizza chef and working as a cashier. The pizza was one of the best we’ve had in Florida. We will be back!

Been going here for decades with family for dinner once in a while and also I used to order pizza from here at least 4 or 5 times a month then they closed and when they reopened I ordered a pizza and not only did it cost more but it was way undercooked and had like half the cheese as normal. There was like 2 inches of empty space with no cheese or sauce around the edge. I think they changed owners and whoeever bought this place really screwed it up. Less ingredients, terrible pizza, more money. I’ve had to pick a new pizza place, I won’t be back. I understand wanting to recoup some of the money from your investment and remodel but jacking the prices up and cutting back on ingredients isn’t the right way.

Awful. One pizza came out cold and beat up, looks like Freddy Krueger. The corner store cosmetic surgeon does better cuts then what they did to this pizza. Their medium pizza is 14$ per after taxes and this is all you get. Absolutely pitiful. Read the reviews first and don’t associate this with the original and high quality sals Italiano restaurant.

I used to come to this Sals every week. They shut down for repairs, lost all their staff, and when they reopened I went to visit again. Today they had 1 chef and 1 waiter working lunch time. The waiter was really nice and took my order. I ordered two slices of pizza with extra ham on top, well done. The slices took over 30 minutes, and when they arrived they were completely different than what I was normally getting before they shut down. The ham was not chopped up and nor was it the same ham. The chef placed large pieces of circle-shaped ham covering the pizza and it made the pizza very greasy, dripping in oil. The pizza did not taste good and when I provided feedback the waiter was kind enough to take a slice off my check. Then came the bill, which they tried having me pay with their mobile POS but that didn’t work. The waiter took my card and came back with the bill which was twice the expected amount. I told the waiter and the waiter tried to fix it to no avail. So I paid double for some very bad pizza. Will not be returning and cannot recommend this location any longer.

It looks great inside and the waitress was very friendly. But I was not impressed with the pizza. It was greasy and tasted microwaved. The soup was good and the meatball sandwich was good but the bread was a little mushy on the bottom. Sals In Sunrise taste better and they should use their recipe for pizza. I was expecting the same good pizza they have there. If you fix the pizza I’ll update this review to a 5.

We paid $35 ($50 in total thru DD) for this atrocity. This pizza makes the mass graves found in Eritrea (this is from a movie fyi) look like a holiday. Imagine the box these came in with no sauce and an epidermal thin layer of cheese and you may find yourself in the ballpark about how awful this pizza is. I don’t care that it’s Thanksgiving, you chose to be open. Sal needs to be taken out back like a lame mule…
