We had a good experience here, and was better than we were expecting for stopping off of I-95. Cute atmosphere and prompt and friendly service. The spicier salsa is very good. I got the chicken dish covered in cheese and corn (I forget the name) and it was well-flavored and a generous portion (pictured). The rice and beans were a little salty for my taste, and some things were a bit greasy, but overall we were very pleased and would definitely come back. My husband liked that you could mix and match the tacos.

We’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in Florence but this one was so good. They were busy all the time we were there but the service was fast so you don’t have to wait a lot. I ordered the pollo bandido and taco salad and was delicious!

A lot different from your normal Mexican restaurant on every corner. Food is more authentic, some vastly different dishes, and price is very reasonable. Tortillas are made from scratch. Every type of Mexican beer is available. Dos Equis Ambar and Modelo on draft. 10 different margaritas. Please dont change anything.

I’m a generous man when it comes to reviews, but this place really disappointed me! 1st thing they do is March me straight to the back when I said I was doing a Google review! Then I get my chicken fajitas and I see a little pink stream running from my chicken and it was cold in the middle. So I got up and left!! I don’t think they wanted me there!! My server was the only bright spot of the evening.. Never again!

The best in town I say. I think they use good oil. I often have some reaction with bad oil when I dine out. And all the ingredients is good quality. Food is clean. Love!!! Will be back.

The Bandelero is by far and away the best meal you will ever have in Florence. I always substitute the cactus salad for the black beans because the acidity really balances the savory richness of the meat. It’s a perfect meal. And the service, whether at a table or to go, is second to none.

This place is always jumping. The food is very good. It’s more authentic than other places. The food had a homemade taste to it. Even the ground beef as an American taco has bold flavor. I have had many different things. The Carlita meat is especially good. Fast service ,friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced.
