Thank you, Emily for a wonderful early dinner! Our Cosmo was perfect and the food great. A nice little spot on Littleton’s fun Main Street.

Salt Bistro is located beneath the historic Thayers Inn where the original barn used to be and has a cool vibe. This was a such a nice break from the typical fare and a perfect way to end our time in Littleton! My friend and I each started with a cocktail, and then ordered a variety of small plates to share in lieu of entrées (“cicchetti” are like the Italian version of Spanish tapas). 0ur server, Misty, was very attentive and had some great recommendations. Each dish was well-presented and, more importantly, delicious! It’s best to take your time to really enjoy the experience and order dishes as you go along instead of all up front (this is also a good way to stay on budget). The dishes are small but rich, flavorful and satisfying so no need to over order! It’s clear that the chef(s) put a lot of care and love into each dish. We ended up ordering 5 small dishes to share and that was more than enough. We should have stopped there (we were full!), but we were having such a nice time that we decided to order coffee and dessert. They serve the coffee in individual coffee presses, and it’s delicious. The piece of chocolate cake was large (sharing size) and quite decadent. This is a fairly new restaurant in town, and I hope people check it out. I want it to succeed so that I can return next time I’m in town!

Thank you, Aaron, for a perfect evening! Cucumber gimlet, shrimp polenta not pictured because they were so fabulous we didn’t even think of it. I had the surf & turf, NY Strip and lobster. Bestie had the shrimp pink pesto entree. Both were fantastic. Aaron is here for all your beverage to entree pairing needs as well as us saying “I like this but I don’t want to eat what I can get at home, what do you suggest?”

We sat at the bar and everything was incredible! The food, the drinks, and the service were top notch. The owner, AJ, and the bartender, Emily, were so friendly it felt like we were hanging out with friends. Great atmosphere and can’t recommend this place enough! Can’t wait to try the St Johnsbury, VT and the Burke, VT locations!

This place was great! Found it on a whim while staying at The Mountain View Grand (also awesome!). The food was fantastic. The service was personable and spot on, even though she was still in training. Relatively easy parking. You should go!

Where do I even begin! We chose this as a special place to celebrate our anniversary. Only one other couple at 5 pm and it took over 20 minutes to order drinks and then another 15 to make them. We had to go to the bar and retrieve them! During those minutes we heard the waiter tell the only other table seated next to us that they were out of lobster, trout, mussels, calamari, … so they ordered the prime steak option. Minutes later the waiter came back to tell them they were out of steak but they would go down the street and purchase some. Can you purchase prime at Shaws? When he finally returned to take our order we had already made reservations elsewhere. We have a memorable story to laugh back on but do yourself a favor and go to The Beal House-outstanding! Oh and watch Monty Pythons The Cheese shop!

This is my place to go to bring old friends and new ones too because the menu is so broad that I’m sure each one will find some delights. The drinks are both alcohol and alcohol free with elegant choices. Service is precise but also warm and relaxed. My own favorites are the hummus, the mushroom risotto, and the fruit de mare, and they always make my sidecar cocktail just the way I like it.

Really amazing dining experience! It’s so great to see something nice open up in Littleton. Great drinks, nice pastas, and the mushroom cheese starter was to die for. Def recommend. Misty was our waitress and she was great

Party of 3 on a quiet Tuesday evening. Start with appetizers: both orders of mussels were very small at $18 a piece. And they were frozen (most likely purchased at frozen food aisle at local Shaw’s). Not happy! Entrees: We were first party to be seated. I ordered the salmon. Waiter lamented that they were out of the salmon?? Half way through the entrees, I asked if we could have some bread. There were 3 in the party, yet waiter presented us with 2 small pieces of bread?? When I was going over the bill before throwing away my hard earned cash, there was a $2.00 charge for the bread!! Seriously? It should have been the first thing on the table as complimentary! The total Bill was $213.04 BEFORE the gratuity! The food was very bland and tasteless!! Will definitely not be back!!

Fantastic little find!! Food and wine was delicious. Loved the atmosphere and top notch service from Aaron. We usually stay in Lincoln, but this was well worth the drive and we will be back!
