All 8 of us loved this place. Cute, unique atmosphere. We all loved our dishes. Highly recommend the half pineapple, scallops, Saigon noodles, and snapper fish. The drinks were great too and served in unique tiki themed cups. We definitely hope to come back next year!

My husband really enjoyed the scallop special $30 so 4 stars. I had the rice and beans and added shrimp $23. It was good. I get increased prices and all, but I agree with another reviewer about the rice and beans just being very simple without flavor and the shrimp tails on still and had no seasoning at all. The drinks were cute in the tiki cups about $11 each but I could taste the juices more than the alcohol and it just was full of ice. I was hoping the dessert would be good because it was a chocolate coconut cake. I honestly saw one of the kitchen staff licking the beaters from a handheld mixer as they walked over to the dishwasher. And I thought ok in house made deserts. However, the cake was pretty dry. The coconut the icing tasted great but we did not even finish it. The parking is a joke if you get a spot. You have to hope that you can get out of the parking spot as well and that people don’t hit your car as you park. Inside is quaint, but I also agree could use a little updating with table and chairs, you are just crammed in, and the music is a little loud for a tiny place. However the service was great and if that’s how somebody wants to restaurant to look good for them. Just not a return place for us.

Delicious! A creative menu with great sharable options and tasty, unique entrees. The margarita was awesome too! Highly recommend the brussel sprouts.

What a gem! It’s a quirky, small restaurant with an interesting and varied menu – the lamb app and candied jalapeños (“cowboy candy”) were particularly flavorful! All food was fresh and much of it was locally sourced. Definitely worth a visit, just call ahead – we got lucky and snagged the only open seats at the bar, but this place seems to prefer reservations due to its small size (part of the charm!)

The food was very good!! I’m a hard critic in this economy, but I will say the appetizers were a very good portion and more than enough for 4 people, we even had leftovers of appetizers. I was skeptical because I feel as though newer restaurants with “creative” dishes usually under deliver and don’t give enough food at all. This place definitely have a healthy portion of tasty, good food. The cocktails are also great and the bartender/waitress was amazing and was able to make our drinks to our taste and give her recommendations. Will definitely eat here again next time we’re in Carolina beach. Great date night spot.

What a sweet little hidden gem in Carolina Beach! We had the smoked fish dip and mahi bites for appetizers, and a noodle bowl with chicken for our entree and everything was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The service was fantastic and the vibe is so relaxed. Definitely call for a reservation, as they only have a few tables and the bar for seating, but it’s totally worth it!

Best food on the island by far! I’ve been there multiple times since moving here and have never had anything that wasn’t absolutely delicious and fresh. Cocktails and service are excellent as well! The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Its a small place, I’d recommend making a reservation.

We have been visiting Carolina beach for a decade and somehow never knew about this gem. Hands down the best meal we have ever had on the island. The menu is a single page of thoughtfully curated dishes and I suspect we could have closed our eyes and pointed to an item and it would have been phenomenal (we had the marinated steak, and Maui special…perfection!). The staff is super friendly and accommodating to our kiddos (we had the first reservation of the evening and they even did some fries for them, which were unlike any fries we ever had..amazing!). If you go nowhere else, GO TO SALT FISH!

The food was absolutely delicious. I feel like you walk in and definitely question the food that may be produced because it’s very tiki-bar esc but I was surprised. The food was so yummy and the servers were so friendly. They managed to squeeze my family and I in and we absolutely enjoyed everything. My dad—who is very hard to please when it comes to food—devoured the meal and kept giving his compliments to the chef. It was amazing! Highly recommend.
