We could not find the hostess stand. I wandered around the restaurant for 9 minutes before someone asked me if I had a reservation. Well that was the first I could tell

The seafood here is incredible–oysters are served with lemon and fresh horseradish and the clams were amazing with a really nice blend of flavors (ah, pork belly and scallions!). Service can be a little slow but the staff are delightfully friendly.

Ah. May. Zing. I loved my first visit. The space is clean and inviting with great decor. The staff was super friendly. The bartender was highly skilled, I ordered a Last Word and he knew how to make it without asking, and it was wonderful. The lamb burger I had was bursting with flavor and was expertly cooked. The fries are not super special, but perfectly cooked. My fiancee loved her coctail (Leon’s Last Holiday), avacado tempura, and gnocchi.

Arrived early and was seated quickly. Service was very good. We had the grilled dates and ricotta app. Quite tasty! I ordered the burger and my wife had the special – grilled swordfish. The burger was so-so. It was undercooked and salty. They haven’t been open long, but an $18 burger should be easy to nail. My wife’s dish was amazing. The atmosphere is very good, I will go back for another meal. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a high end restaurant locally.

The food here is incredible. Tried a lot on the menu and was not disappointed. Also, they have great cocktails and nice outdoor seating as well! Service was helpful, quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We went for the El Camino take out last week. Overall it was pretty good. Doing take out successfully is very hard as it always seems like the food is cold by the time you reach your eating destination. We chose to eat at waterfront park which is just a couple minutes away and by the time we got everything out it was cold which is expected but disappointing. That aside that food was tasty and packaged well. The included utensils were made of wood which I’m not a fan of but is a sign of the times with reducing plastic consumption.

The space is remarkable, inside and out. Excellent cocktails and very good wine list. Then there is the food: fresh yummy oysters, octopus is lovely, best burger ever, and really great fries. El and Daphne are consummate hosts with a first rate crew.

I had the most amazing dining experience. I have not eaten that well outside of Portland ever. The waitress (Elizabeth) should be teaching master classes in hospitality and allergy handling.

This is a quirky local sophisticated restaurant. The food were locally sourced, well prepared with an imaginative twist. For example my mussels were traditionally prepared a la the French northren coast but with mint instead of parsley– excellent. My husband’s Hake fish and chips were done to perfection. One of our party had the scallops. She said they were the best she had in a long time. One of our party had the fried clam dinner and was quite pleased. The ceviche was quite good and fresh. The tempora avocado was light and good. The fish pate amazing. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere of restaurant was a modern arrangement of vintage artifacts in a clean uncluttered environment. Well worth the visit.
