The ambiance is great for dates, family-dining & friendly get-together. Shrimp coctail just breaks the ice for robust appetite. The cocktail sauce just prepares your palate for awesome gastronomic experience. The food outstanding, steak-quality will pass with flying colors for people with food peculiarities. The chicken tortilla soup was good. The chocolate cake was to die for with our coffee. I was surprise there is italian water of pelegrino-brand. This is one of my pecularities. The waitress was very pleasant, attentive & I was glad she talked me of trying the chocolate cake. Ultimate perfection for our 37 yr Wedding Anniversary.

Saltgrass is one of our favorites. We always get fried mushrooms. Order with cocktail sauce. You won’t regret it. My only complaint is slow bar service. If you sit at the bar, it’s great. But if you are in the main dining room it takes forever. Other than that the service is great.

This place may seem nice, I went to the Salt Grass in Rockwall to have a simple chicken fried steak dinner with my daughter. Hers came out exactly as ordered, I asked for gravey and a side of extra gravey. It came out with neither. It was as naked as the day I was born. The kitchen staff who bought it assured me he would get the gravy he did not. Five minutes later, my waitress arrived and tried half-heartedly tried to fix the issue, but by that time, it was too late as my daughter was well into her meal. The whole idea of eating out was to eat together thanks to the staff there that ship had sailed and I’m out the $68 including the less than deserved tip. Saltgrass needs to change their processes the person that takes the order should deliver the order so at least their is some sort of quality control

Service was okay. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the waiter to show his face in our area, each and every time. St the same time, the place was staffed very well. With that being said he was attentive when we did see him. The potato soup was very flavorful. The ranch rattlers are top 10 best jalapeño poppers I have ever had. The stake was laking. It was over seasoned, but not dry.

Food was SO GOOD, definitely exceeded our expectations. We got exactly what we ordered and our waiter Brandon was super attentive. Food was cooked to perfection and tasty as hell. Place is a little expensive but definitely worth it if you have a little cash to throw around and you’re hungry! 5/5 stars from me!
