I don’t know where to begin but this was my first time ever coming to Saltgrass steakhouse and it was beyond phenomenal! The service was fantastic. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. Our waiter was awesome and friendly. I ordered a watermelon margarita and it was perfect. The steak was so easy to chew and everything was seasoned perfectly. I am forever coming here. I was suppose to go to Texas Roadhouse but it wasn’t so friendly. I recommend Saltgrass steakhouse over any steakhouse! Thank you all so much!!!!!

I’m visiting Texas with family and I saw this restaurant from the highway during our adventures. Roger served us and was very patient and polite, he helped us pick an excellent lunch with desserts. Try the steak and brisket burger, and I insist you have the cheesecake and carrot cake. Can’t miss!!

I was skeptical when I first came into this location since we normally eat in downtown Houston and there is a different type of crowd on the northside versus downtown. The service was exceptional and the waitress was kind and fast. Unfortunately, we had to sit at the bar area because they said there were no tables available, but we saw plenty of tables available in the dining hall, which is why I gave them a four-star. The food was cooked properly and everything was great.

Haven’t been to Saltgrass in years, went right in, no wait..waitress was good but the food wasn’t.I ordered country fried steak, terrible..meat wasn’t seasoned, cream gravy tasted like buttermilk and mashed potatoes were bland. Switched to chicken sandwich, much better flavor .guess they’re really just a steakhouse..also the decor is nice but it’s too dark in there..

My daughter and I arrived around 2 pm and were seated immediately. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. We had brisket queso and shrimp cocktail for appetizers 5/5 for both, sweet tea was perfection and the steaks were so delicious. The mashed potatoes were pretty salty. Usually you don’t expect a chain steakhouse to be this good but I was more than happy with our meal and server.

Our server Amanda was so awesome to me and my family, gave us great food and drink suggestion, the pineapple margarita tasted to good, my first time trying the lettuce wedge and it was so delicious, we went back again and the whole staff is so friendly and nice to us, great family environment.
