Walked in and it wasn’t busy, maybe 10-12 tables occupied, so we was seated right away. I noticed that there were many servers standing around, so I didn’t think that the wait time for service should have been long. We were given a menu a menu by the hostess and she said someone would be right with me but they didn’t. It took around 20 minutes for someone to come say something to us and when they did, it was a server from another section that came by and asked if we had been helped yet. I said no and he apologized and asked for our drink order. After taking the drink order, he said that our server would be with us shortly but it still was another 5 minutes or so before he came. A wedge salad was ordered with no bacon, which was reiterated to the server twice and it came out with bacon. One of the entrées was the chicken fried steak and it came out without seasoning and dry. The server would creep by and wait for us to ask for something instead of asking himself, as if he was scared. Told him about the chicken fried steak and he sent a manager over. I told the manager about the complete experience since we were seated and he only addressed the food, not the service. He took the dollar amount of the steak off the ticket and went to look at the time stamp of when we were seating and when service started. He came back and said that it was never entered in the system.

I started with a Long Island Tea, which was okay… a little on the weak side. I ordered the Cajun Ribeye with Sweet Potato Fries and a Caesar salad. My dinner companion had the Sirloin with Gulf Shrimp, a loaded baked potato, and a house salad. The Sirloin was prepared medium rare and was tender & juicy, but had just enough gristle to be a little annoying. The potato was great. My Ribeye was prepared medium and was good, flavorful & tasty. The fries weren’t so good, but I wanted to try something new & different. They had little taste and reminded me of the can of shoestring fries I ate during my childhood. The service was really good. The wait staff were attentive and checked on us frequently. The check came quickly, but we didn’t feel pressured.

The moment you pull up into the parking lot you can smell and almost here the sizzle of the amazing steaks that are served here. My son and I had Rachel as our waitress. She went above and beyond to give us amazing quality service. We never got the chance to ask for anything as she was always there with her assistant waiter one step ahead getting us extra butter, another strawberry lemonade, another beer. The steaks were cooked to juicy perfection. I sometimes read other reviews about things being pricey and I must say you get what you pay for. I spent $125 for two and it included fresh Cesar salad, fresh baked bread and butter, two main entrees 16oz ribeyes with shrimp and loaded baked potatoes, one pomegranate mojito, a tall draft beer, a strawberry lemonade, and last but not least an amazing slice of Cheesecake to go. All of this plus the treatment of service that is one of a kind will keep you coming back with loved ones as faithful customers. I know I will come back and enjoy another meal at Saltgrass Steak House. Bon Appetite!

They sat us at a tiny booth with drink napkins on both side of my wife so servers were constantly walking up to get napkins. My advice move the napkins away from both or don’t sit someone at the table. Other than that it was very pleasant dinner.

Just had a great experience at Saltgrass. The food was good and our waitress was very attentive. Came in for the restaurant weeks menu, and it was definitely plenty of food. I might have gotten the name wrong, but our waitress Amy did a great job. Food had plenty of flavor, and the dessert was a large portion. Experiences like this will keep me coming back.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Saltgrass Restaurant in Katy, TX. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was delicious. My wife ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and a moist and tender flesh. She said it was one of the best salmon dishes she ever had. I had the ribeye steak and it was also excellent, juicy and flavorful, with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and green beans. We shared a slice of cheesecake for dessert and it was heavenly, creamy and rich, with a crunchy graham cracker crust. We were very satisfied with our meal and we will definitely come back to Saltgrass Restaurant soon. Highly recommended!
