I have come here many times and have always loved everything I’ve ordered. From burgers to their lobster and chowder, it’s all been great. They have a large seating area with lots of room to relax and a bar that has just about everything! Would definitely recommend

You won’t be disappointed here, great atmosphere. Had good fried scallops and clam chower. The crispy fries were top notch. Coleslaw was tasty as well. Not the cheapest place but you won’t get this at a fast food restaurant

Couldn’t be more of an awesome experience at the Salty Bay!! The food is excellent and the service is top notch. Not to mention they also have a KICK A$$ bar with an even lovelier staff.

The workers were nice and were knowledgeable about the food. There were picnic tables in the back as well as a bar. I ordered a clam plate dinner. It was the most disgusting clams I have ever eaten. After eating only 3-4 clams and a few fries, I started gagging. I had to throw my $40 plate in the trash. The ketchup packets were also gross and all sticky. It was my first and last time there.

This place is disgusting and over priced for the tiny portions. I wish I had read the reviews first. They obviously do not change the grease and we were all sick after and fighting for the bathroom when we got home. Food poisoning? We were supposed to get a takeout order to bring back for my daughter who was home with a new baby and we drove up to Ken’s to get it there instead. We will never be back, go to Ken’s or the Clambake, the food is much much better, fresher and you’ll get your moneys worth. It must be friends of theirs posting the positive reviews because nothing is good there. We all got different things to try and most of it went into the trash. Believe the negative reviews they are the most accurate

I need to respond to the previous comment by Lisa J as my friends and myself were there at that time. First of all, if someone is going to provide a review, they should provide an accurate one. The gentleman she referred to as having dementia was probably in his mid 70’s and upon our arrival, he, along with 3 of the people he was with, were all noticeably intoxicated. They were even putting pretzels they had there up his nose and mouth… jokingly. The gentleman with dementia was left alone in the bathroom by himself and could not get out. It was at that time, before he hurt himself, that the owner said NICELY that he was cut off. That’s when one of the people came up to the owner and bumped him and was yelling. The owner never yelled at all and handled the situation very professionally. Everyone else in the place sided with the owner as well. What I do not understand is why would anyone bring someone with dementia to a bar and provide them alcohol? That review by Lisa J is totally false and just the opposite happened. I don’t understand why anyone would waste their time on writing false and fraudulent reviews. This is a great establishment and I highly recommend it!

We were driving around the area and stumbled upon this place, we ordered our food while waiting I read the reviews, hit or miss, but we were hopeful. What we got was an over priced order of fried clams, mushy and greasy, the lobster rolls were ok, no flavor so I suspect its frozen lobster. We just wanted a nice seafood meal, and what we got was over priced mush. Those must be their friends posting the positive reviews because the people around us had the same complaints as we did. The only thing that was decent was my sons hotdog

So most people go to have dinner by the pier and so did we, but if course everything was full till late, so we chose to go here. We got grilled shrimp, scallops and clam strips. Everything was great except the clam strips which weren’t bad, just overpriced for something that is just ok. That is what stopped me from giving this place 5 stars. Minimum wait, outdoor seating, great guys at the register. I would go back and recommend this place to people.

I had the best fried clam plate of the season at Salty Bay a few weeks ago. The employees are friendly and the little stand alone pub is a cool place to grab a drink while you’re waiting for your order.

Paid 56 dollars for 2 lobster rolls if you could call them that. Both hotdogs rolls came out black… completely charred woth minimal meat. I didn’t realize until I got all the way back 20 minutes away. Go to Sebago if you want a good lobster roll
