We went for the first time on a Thursday night. Be prepared to park and walk. There’s very little public parking but totally worth the walk. There were 4 of us for dinner. It happened to be Devour Indy so 3 ate off the Devour menu. We had the Pork Fries and the Trailer Park appetizers, which each on its own could serve as a meal. Fries piled so high with toppings you had to use a knife and fork to eat them. The trailer park app came with 4 dipping sauces, (smoky bacon quest, tomatillo, guacamole and salsa) each unique in its flavor and texture with the freshest chips. They warm and thin and crispy. So good. We had one sugar shack quesadilla which was a wonderful combination of flavors and huge. The steak quesadilla was plentiful and had great flavor in the steak. We tried – variety of tacos, all of which were very delicious and full of toppings and with tacos, you are asked to choose between flour and corn tortillas. The churros were small and tasty and just the right side. The only negative was the server and we think she was just having a really bad night. Sorry I forgot to take pics until midway through our meals. Suffice it to say, there were leftovers.

The restaurant offers a pleasant ambiance and impeccable service. However, regrettably, the culinary experience does not align with its pricing. Despite attempting to present itself as Mexican cuisine, the food falls short, lacking the authenticity and flavor that characterizes true Mexican or Tex-Mex dishes. Instead, it resembles the attempts made by local pubs to incorporate Mexican elements derived from mainstream cookbooks targeting suburban households.

The food was great (we shared the Tipsy Texan burrito and Sugar Shack quesadilla). The outdoor seating was nice and dogs are allowed. The wait was 35 minutes, but convenient with the texting functionality and ability to see in realtime your place in line and estimated wait time. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t great. We didn’t even get any water until our food was nearly ready and the waitress didn’t offer to refill our drinks when empty and was slow getting the check.

Service was excellent. I had the original nachos which were huge and the pink taco. The salsa was warm which was odd. Would probably go back but only during Devour Indy due to pricing.

Chicken Empanadas are amazing! Great service and atmosphere! Must go to spot in Zionsville. I don’t eat out much but I loved the food, drinks and service was top notch! Our server even bought a round of tequila for our whole group celebrating a job promotion. Very cool of her!

Decided to visit this place because it was on the Devour list & not at all disappointed I did. Great place with great vibes. Food is fantastic & definitely worth the money. They also have the cutest take out bags. Will certainly be back to try the rest of the menu.

Great food and fast friendly service. Had the dirty fries and guacamole as appetizers, both were delicious and fresh, guacamole was made at the table. Draft beer was cold and refreshing too. For the entree I got tacos, one angry jalapeno and one shrimp one. Both were delicious and the jalapeno one had some kick but still flavorful.

We had a large group to celebrate a co workers baby shower and had the absolute best experience thanks to the Manager, Justin and our server, Carly !

Food and drinks were delicious, but overpriced for what was served… small tacos were $6-7 each, and were served alone…no rice, beans…or even any extra sauces. My daughter ordered a quesadilla which was an actual meal with multiple accompanying dipping options (queso, guacamole, and salsa…and cowboy caviar). And I have never been to a “Mexican” restaurant that didn’t offer chips and salsa pre-meal.

the last few times we came for dinner we noticed everything was off and things were tasting different. come to find out, new ownership — which i’m sure that means they’re changing things. which is fine but super disappointed as we were pretty much regulars. we probably won’t be back. wish them the best!
