Photos do not do justice to what is (for us at least) THE BEST lobster roll we have ever had. Salty’s was a good vendor at Blue Ridge Rock Festival 2022. We hope they are back again in 2023 so we have another opportunity to support and enjoy these amazing food crafts!!!

Very, VERY impressed with the shrimp roll and lobster roll combos with fries we picked up tonight! Loved the fries with crab, bacon and cheese! Opening the boxes revealed food that looked exactly like the pictures they advertise which was awesome to see. Everything tasted great!

Ordered lobster rolls and crab fries. Taste was good, crab fries awesome. Prices are high for the amount of food served. One of the lobster rolls had a shell in a few bites of it, but hey at least you know it is real and fresh.

Lobster rolls and both types of aoli sauce were fantastic. Lobster was delicate and full of flavor…not bland or rubbery like I usually get here in Roanoke. Is it pricey? I guess, but it’s Lobster not a cheap ingredient fast food meal. I absolutely love seafood and unless I cook my own I usually don’t find seafood I enjoy in Roanoke so this was a VERY welcomed discovery. We will be back!

We ordered the Classic Lobster roll and the Kittery Crab roll. Both sandwiches were way smaller than expected but they were tasty. The Lobster roll was my favorite. It was loaded up with chunks of delicious lobster and was even more yummy when dipped in the butter and seafood aioli sauce.

I have been wanting to try this for years… my chance came today, right time and place. For a $25 lobster roll and fries, would you think you would have the best and freshest lobster roll ever… not so much. The lobster taste was dated, it had a strong fishy smell (on the edge of being thrown out). I fully understand stand that you make get some shells during the picking process but after two bites, pieces of shells in both, plus not being fresh, I lost my appetite and threw it out.
