We are not from the area, so we called to see if we needed reservations, and Liz was so friendly on the phone. She put us on the list for a table and said they’d be ready for us in 15mins. (I would call to ahead, especially during dinner hour on a Friday night.) When we arrived, Liz sat us immediately. She was also our waitress, and she has a friendly personality and great service skills! On their tables, they do have a sign that ask guests to be patient because they make everything to order, so it does take longer to get food. Drinks came out fairly quick, however. The food was definitely worth the wait! So delicious! I recommend the Chicken and Bacon Fettuccine for dinner, and the their chocolate cake for dessert! As my 8 year old son put it, “We need to come back again and again!”

I can’t sing the praises of Salud! enough. I’ve been cooking professionally practically my entire adult life, and this was one of my all-time favorite dining experiences. Everything was perfect, and can compare to the finest Portland has to offer. A hidden gemstone, this is one truly phenomenal experience, from start to finish. I will be back. Frequently.

If you are searching for incredible Italian food, look no further! Salud is my new fav restaurant. My husband and I came for a date night and the food was so delicious that I can’t imagine going to any other Italian restaurant ever again. I got the Italian meatloaf and hubby got chicken & bacon fettuccinie. The service was great and very friendly, 10/10 would eat here again.
