My wife and I had dinner at a table in the bar area which is a little less noisy than the main dining room when busy, especially on a weekend at this popular west side neighborhood Italian restaurant. A welcoming family environment for 47 years now. The food is fresh, homemade, tasty and reasonably priced. Service was great. My wife had the lasagna and I had one of the specials, maple glazed salmon. Both were very good. Will return to try other entrees or pizza. We did return this evening for dinner for the manicotti special on Tuesday’s. Delicious!

Decided to check this place out after hearing some word of mouth buzz recommending it. We had a dreadful experience.

Stopped here on our way to our Airbnb. Found this place on Google while searching for pasta. The atmosphere is very simple and old school. Our waitress was absolutely pleasant. We got so much food for the prices. We both tried fettuccine alfredo with chicken, brichetta, and pizza. Had food for 3 days! And the food was delicious! This was such a great way to start our trip!

We have been waiting for 20 min for our server to even come back to give us boxes and checks. The salad had bad lettuce and a bad tomato. I’ve let my server know and yet the salad sat at the table for the whole meal. Still no sign of our server.

I decided to eat here because of the high rating and the pictures of the food looked pretty good. I came for lunch around 3:30 and the place was dead. Ordered some kids dishes and the famous Alfredo and lasagna. They were both awful. Alfredo was super watery not creamy at all, there was also a piece of egg shell in the sauce. Lasagna was dumb with red sauce that was also kind of watery and had way to much sugar in it to the point you could taste the sugar. The salads that came with the meal were also just as bad I found old browned lettuce buried at the bottom and my wife’s salad had a tomato but mine did not. Kids meals were very small cheese stick meal was just 3 sticks and some potatoes chips. Dinning room looked just as old and tired like the food. Even being dead service was slow. Just stay clear of this place.

We came for a birthday dinner for our son. He enjoyed the BDay cannoli……Only complaint would be soggy eggplant parm and tough with the skin still on. Our server seemed very rushed with very little eye contact, so I feel like we missed that aspect of our dining experience. Overall we would definitely come back another time.

A great local spot for food and spirits on the westside of GR. I recommend enjoying drinks and conversation over a plate of veal Parmigian on the patio if weather permits.

I got the sampler platter. The lasagna was just okay for me but I enjoyed the rest of it. The portions are very large especially for the price. Meal came with a salad and garlic bread as well. I recommend getting the calamari if ordering an appetizer. They have great prices for pasta on Sunday if you’re looking for a great deal.

Ordered one 16-in pepperoni, jalapeno, fresh basil pizza carryout for about $18. The dough/crust is pretty good overall, the pizza is all right, but why is there so many jalapenos on it? I have no idea why it’s outnumbering the other toppings like four to one. There’s literally jalapenos on top of jalapenos and canned ones at that, not fresh. It’s like a jalapeno pizza and not what I had in mind at all, disappointed.
