Tonight we decided to go to Salvatores for an early dinner. We sat at one of the tables with the wall bench seat. The table for 2 is a nice sized table and comfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant is is comfortable with Italian bistro and a sense of being in Italy is surely felt.

Went for brunch and had the avocado toast which was really good. My friend had the eggs benedict and said hers was really good too. Outdoor seating was really nice.. the chairs were very comfortable too (comfortable enough for us both to point it out!). We got donuts from the shop inside the restaurant afterwards. Donuts were also delicious.

In a sea of Italian places in this small town, Salvatore’s definitely is a contender in good solid Italian food. Particularly their pizza is pretty top notch! Also have to give a shout out to their Cauliflower crust pizzas, I’ve tried plenty of them and this one was hands down a really good version, we had to take a few slices home and even heated up the next day there was no weird sogginess of the crust. Their apps and main dishes are delicious as well, we’ve tried their chicken parm, veal marsala and fried calamari and all were fine beautifully. My kids LOVE their meatball parm on the kids menu, loaded with 2 good size meatballs with their delicious sauce and tons of melted Mozzarella cheese, it’s filling and enough to bring home for another break too.

Its a really nice restaurant and take out place. I only had a grilled chicken sandwich for lunch so dont really know how amazing their food is. The chicken was delicious and the service was good. I also bought delicious donuts from shop that is attached to the restaurant.

Made reservations for 4 adults and one child for outdoor seating. The girl at the front reservation podium seated us at a TINY 4 seat table. I pointed out that the table was too small for 5 dinner plates, drinks, water, plus there was no room for a 5th chair for our child. etc., and we asked to be moved to a larger empty table nearby. She actually started arguing that we had said we had an infant…clearly we did not as our kindergartener is not an infant. She then said that she could put us at a larger table in front of the restaurant (next to all the road traffic at the intersection of Main Street and Route 24…um…as tempting as that sounds, thanks but no). We stood firm and ended up at the table next to us but she was not happy…and now neither were we. It was our first time there. Pretty setting. Maybe fix the wobbly tables so napkins aren’t stuffed under the legs. Love the orange umbrellas. Very clean. Food was just okay. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon.

Lovely local restaurant. Good food. Excellent service. Our server, Julia was as sweet as could be. She made sure our order was hot and got it to our table quickly AND with a smile. The pizza is always excellent. We had lasagna and eggplant parmigiana which were just wonderful. Try it. Ask for Julia or one of the other lovely young people on the wait staff. You won’t be disappointed.

This was an absolutely terrible experience. This was my first restaurant I went to after moving to the area. We ordered their fried mozzarella as an appetizer and when it came to the table, it was still frozen in the center. We couldn’t get to the center because it was solid and cold. We were a party of four and they completely forgot one of our entrees but brought out the rest of us. The service was horrible. They didn’t even notice that one of our orders was missing until we pointed out that my food never came out. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I live in the area and will not be visiting again and actively tell people to avoid due to my terrible experience.

Have been there 3 times and each time was enjoyable. The food is very good. We had Chicken Marsala and Francese which was good. The next time we had the Grandma’s pizza with broccoli rabe and sausage which was excellent and the last time we tried the pastas one with clam sauce and the other with broccoli and sausage which also were very good. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I’ll give one star for the meatballs and Caesar salad. Both were decent. Chicken Marsala was the worst I’ve ever tried. Completely bland and the chicken was cheap. Rigatoni Bolognese was tasteless, it actually didn’t taste like bolognese sauce, too much sugar or sweetness. I don’t think that they have a chef. Maybe they ran out of garlic, salt, and pepper. Service was a joke. Do not waste your time.
