I generally have no issues at this one on east main st but to my surprise they tried it with my mom today. We waited patiently I recommended the fish and they gave her a old refried piece of fish. Then tried it with “we fry it that way so it’s cooked”

I love salvatore’s!!! It is definitely a Rochester staple. The pizza is the absolute best but so are their subs. I cant wait to try the garbage plate one of these days.

If I could give this restaurant one star.. I would. I would give it negative stars. My husband is chronically ill and has dietary restrictions… wanted one last “cheat meal” before hospice, and our order was 100% wrong even after ordering with the restaurant personally. The “manager/owner” was extremely unprofessional, rude, condescending, and belittling. He told my husband he needed to walk the entire order inside, get refunded, and leave when all that was asked was that a portion of the order be remade. He walked away and told us he was “too busy” to deal with us multiple times. So surprised, and shocked that a “local business” would treat locals this way. He also didn’t wear any gloves when handling and packing customer orders.. gross.

I grew up on the East side and this Salvatore’s was the spot to go to. Even when I moved to the west side I still picked up from here up until now. I received another large pizza in 2 months that had little to no sauce on it. I don’t order often & I never had a pizza like this before…After sending a picture of it to the store manager she insisted that I order my pizza with extra sauce. If they think a $32 pizza is OK to serve like that, then I am officially done with them.
