This was my fav of my trip in STL. I had the arancini — what needs to be said– but the green pepper light, fresh sauce took it to an even higher level. Peak bliss. I don’t usually like burrata always served cold, but the burrata with heirloom tomatoes, melon, and herbs on sourdough was unlike anything else I’ve had.

Colocated with the Gin Room. Wonderful cocktails. Menu is small but very delicious (and will frequently change) and “harvest based”. Looking forward to returning. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

This was a great spot for a bit of an upscale night out. Top notch cocktail and drink options (especially gin cocktails), and decadent food. We got the aranchini appetizer, cheese ravioli with chicken thigh & jus, and the market fish which was olive oil-poached cod served over sauteed mushrooms and polenta. All very good – if anything the ravioli were almost *too* rich and flavorful! The service was quick and attentive, and was sure to prioritize getting our drink and app orders in during happy hour.

I can’t say enoigh about this place. Food is delicious and the chef is A1. Never had better sauces and small plates. Fresh hand rolled pasta daily. The Gin Room is still there since Hamish retired and Cafe Natasha closed with Tasha and chef husband changing to Italian Fusion. Same great staff. You won’t be disappointed.

If I have to finish this review in three words and few stars then it will be “the heritage/legend continues” and give 5 stars and finish it…..however this restaurant deserves much more than those stars. Another exhilarating experience from Natasha and her chef colleagues this is force de tour to recognize. The theme is social dining and farm-to-table and it very well reflects in the menu. Not to mention the awesome drink menus from the Gin room. Reservation can be made through Tock and highly recommend. Service is fast, personalized and to the point and will leave you with a pallet full of memories. We had Monkey business, Mahon 50/50 and Summer garden for drinks and they were just awesome!! For appetizers beet salad and savory cannoli were just mouth watering and perfect portion to share with 3 people. Main course choices are somewhat limited but I think it depends on what chef can get the freshest produce. We had grilled trout and this was one of the freshest you can get in STL! The roasted chicken and Tagilatelle pasta were great. Don’t forget the Tuscan egg plant if you want to indulge in something veggie as well. Few choices of awesome deserts such as mango sorbet if you want to overindulge – haha. Overall a a great experience and this place easily tops it as one of the top few restaurants in STL!! Way to go Natasha and team!!

Salve Osteria is a foodie’s dream and a fantastic addition to the STL restaurant scene. Their Coco Garganelli and Pappardelle are the two best pasta dishes I’ve had in the city hands down!

I think the rebranding really worked for the gin room. Now, full disclosure we didn’t have any food, just olive cake for dessert. But the atmosphere, the cocktails and the gin tasting was absolutely divine. Natasha is as busy as ever try to make everyone feel at home. Make sure to reserve.

The arancini was delish; the braised beef was super tender and flavorful; the Pappardelle mushroom Ragu w mascarpone was absolutely divine; the cannoli cheesecake made us both take a pause, close our eyes and savor each bite with its waves of flavor like peeling back the layers of a beautiful tapestry. And of course the Gin flight was amazing…our fave was the Porter’s Tropical Old Tom, it was bright and smooth but yet full and earthy. Love this place!!!
