Tucked away in Tipp City is a delightful breakfast and lunch spot called Sam and Ethel’s Diner that serves up huge portions of comfort food classics. This charming local joint may not look like much from the outside, but inside you’ll find a cozy retro diner atmosphere and one of the best breakfasts around.

Our family went there to meet up with a friend. The hit we all tried was the fried mush(because Grandma shared)! They make it in house, and we all said we would be back to individually order our own. All of the food was good, but the mush was a collective favorite. They were very busy on a Saturday morning, but the wait was acceptable.

Small diner with a small town vibe. Food is all very good with great prices. Parking is on street and we had no issues on a Saturday morning. I had a breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and although it was simple, it was large and really tasty! My husband had the Main Street skillet and also enjoyed his meal. We split a waffle and while it was good, it wasn’t a stand out.

Traveling from Virginia we found this small town in Tipp City Ohio in this restaurant called Sam and Ethel‘s. In a nearby city, Vandalia, Ohio they were having a airshow blue Angels I believe, but the town was very busy as well as the restaurant. Our server was the lady name Roxie. My wife and I cannot believe that in the small little town small little restaurant the service was good polite the food was hot and delicious as it was. Roxie was the best!

Classic small town dinner with plenty of breakfast and lunch options. My daughter got a MASSIVE pancake and loved it. I had the bologna sandwich from the lunch options, and it was also really good. We will definitely be coming back.
