Good customer service but ridiculous prices for what you get. 16.99 for shrimp tempura and this is all you get. Be careful if you want to leave full.

Pretty good food. Didn’t try the poke but the Kahlua Pork. I always feel like that’s a good base line because if you can’t get that right then you probably can’t get much else right. It was pretty good and not dry. I’d have like to seen a little more flavor with it but overall not bad.

I did enjoy the meal, and they were having issues with most of their stuff bring it due to a convention, so these are place holder scores. The food wasn’t bad, but it didn’t quite meet up to my expectations. I will give them another shot!

Was looking for a quick bite while checking out the glass Bridge in downtown Tacoma. I had a poke salad with lava sauce over salmon. It was delicious. My wife had a salmon wrap which was very good and filling. Fish was fresh and flavorful. I would eat here again.

The poke place was alright, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. Aesthetically pleasing but that’s about it for me. The fish was fresh, but I was a bit disappointed that there weren’t many different toppings to choose from. I’m used to having a lot of options when it comes to poke, and this place just didn’t have that. No edamame, imitation crab, or really anything besides a little bit of seaweed salad and actual salad. Overall, I’d say it’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and you’re looking for something quick and easy, but if you’re a poke connoisseur, you might be a bit let down.

This was our first time to Sam Choy’s Poke. We tried the Da Garlic Chicken Musubi (inhaled it because it was sooo good, before remembering to take a picture) and a Sam’s Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl (pictured). The poke was good but not sure it’s our favorite style as we have had others locally that we liked better and it wasn’t very spicy to us. We really enjoyed the Musubi and will be back for it.

My spicy salmon bowl was fresh and packed with a lot of protein and pickled veggies. First time having the spam fries and I loved it! The staff members were swamped but they were so nice to give us a few suggestions. Will definitely come back for more!
