They have two phone numbers. I called the first, got a busy signal. I called the second, it rang a bunch, someone answered and then hung up on me. I called back to the first number, it rang and a very polite foreign gentleman answered the phone, he was a bit hard to understand. He answered all my questions. All the lunch specials went up $1 to $6.99. He took my order for the Philly cheese steak, the gentleman was very polite and very thorough being sure to ask many questions about exactly what I wanted on it and how I wanted it prepared. He gave me my order number and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived approximately 20 minutes later at the drive-up window and my order was ready and the same friendly, polite man who answered the phone waited on me at the window. The sandwich was good, could have had just a little more meat to it. Everything was fresh, the bread was soft, but there was just too much bread. This was my first time here. I will go back & try some of the other items.

The food here is great…but I have a 4 for food because the fried stuff gets old… I recommend a grill to accommodate people who cannot eat fried foods in excess.

I regularly come to this location even tell others . This time I will not be coming back my fries are old burnt and hard . And the chicken is burnt. When I called to explain that I’m not happy he just want to replace fries only??? And says the batter is different. No the grease is old. I’m so upset about this service !!!! I wish I could upload a picture of this food!!! Part2 now I’m not allowed in his establishment bc I posted a review and pic of my food!!! When the only thing he was trying to replace was just the fries???

I met Sam, the owner, and he was quite wonderful!! So was the cook that made my whiting fish sandwich . In these difficult times where restaurants are closing left and right, i go out of my way to support local businesses. Sam’s Fish & Chicken in Mt. Healthy is worth my 30 minute drive for the best fish in town!!

This was my 4th/5th time having takeout. The first time I ordered 6 whole songs with fries. It was great! The 2nd time the chicken had so many feathers. The next few times I got cod dinners. Today I got cod dinners and the fish tasted like it was old or fried frozen! Unacceptable!

I hate leaving bad reviews but my burger was cooked to death. It was literally like 2 pieces of jerky on a weirdly chewy bun. My 1st time there so definitely not a good impression. Doubtful I’ll return. Fries were good atleast.
