After watching this place on Bar Rescue , it had me in tears at the end… Cryin like a baby.. Haha. All jokes aside.. to see that Sam Jordan’s is closed now , it breaks my heart. Great atmosphere! Staff are upbeat and make you feel like family! Bartenders make really good drinks how you want them. Thet bring in great live bands some days and some days just juke box. The FOOD IS DE-LI-CIOUS!!!!! From the fries to the chicken to the fried fish its not too greasy AND excellent flavor. Love going there.

It’s a neighborhood bar to go to. The food is cool the service to buy a drink takes too long sometimes. The do is awesome too. On Sunday’s it’s ole skool music and karaoke night. It had a bar rescue makeover too.

This is a fantastic family-owned bar with a great Soul Food Kitchen. Right there at 3rd Street and Evans and the Glorious Bayview District. Sam Jordan was a boxing Legend and sports coach starting around 1959 or so. This is a classic San Francisco bar in a seldom ever visited neighborhood.
