Had drinks and dinner at the bar. My Old Fashioned was made very well. It was early and I was the only person seated, but the bartender was super friendly. I ordered the steak special which came with grilled shrimp. I have to say, for $32 I was not impressed. Nothing was in any way bad, just very underwhelming for the price.

Stayed the night in Hartsville and ended up picking this spot over another establishment. Even with prom happening, we were seated right away. The service was wonderful and the food was terrific. My steak was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were on point. If I’m back in Hartsville, I will definitely visit again!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! Tara was our server and was phenomenal. Probably one of the reasons we liked SK so much. The food was very good, and very well-priced for the high quality. Highly recommend this place. While I confirmed there is no dress code (I wore work boots), it seems very fancy.

Caught me off guard. Guess I wasn’t expecting such a great meal. Steak, shrimp, green beans, and wild rice were all excellent. Beer was ice cold, served with a frozen mug. Sat at the bar, and there was a big group at the end, golfers maybe, who were loud and obnoxious. Sounded more like a sports bar than a steakhouse.

Great restaurant. The food quality and preparation is very good. I had salmon and my wife had scallops. Both were excellent. I also have tried the Filet, and it’s also very good. Beer and wine selection are also good. This restaurant is s little pricey though. I would definitely recommend this place The location in the downtown area is also very nice.

Mini crab cakes to die for. Love the lemon slices wrapped in cloth. Kingston steak was delicious. Only complaint is steak was slightly overcooked. I ate at the bar and Christy my bartender and waitress was Excellent!

The ribeye was excellent. Mine was medium rare and done perfectly. Baked potatoes were loaded and didn’t disappoint. My wife got their chicken with a sauce that was so good we asked if we could get some to take with us. I think our excellent waitress said it was called Kingston Brew. And speaking of our waitress she was even better than the meal. We never went without and she was always so attentive without causing any kind of interruption. You know what I’m talking about. The well meaning waitstaff that hover too close or always interrupting a conversation to check on you? And half the time with your mouth full? None of that here. I simply cannot recommend this place enough, nor the most excellent waitress we’ve had in recent memory. Her name is April and you should do yourself a favor and ask for her before seated, we will.

The service here was fast paced and attentive and the atmosphere was wonderful. It wasn’t too loud or quiet and the view we had was lovely. The food was pretty good, although we had colds when we visited, so my taste buds weren’t working that great. I will say that despite my own cold issue, the Kingston steak tasted amazing and I really can’t wait to go back and try it again.

Ordered medium rare ribeye steak. Came out well done. Not one to complain. Steak was good but not to my liking. I told the server. “Yeah, they don’t know how to cook steaks right back in the kitchen.” I should have sent it back but I didn’t. Will not be visiting back for a good steak anytime soon.
