Tucked away in lely is this great spot for lunch/dinner and a view. Nice happy hour at the bar. The window seats are definitely the best. We had Aldo as our server and he was very attentive and very nice. My 10 year old son loved interacting with him as well. We had a golf course view with a delicious dinner. My son loved the bread as well. Thank you for the great service. Everything was very clean and the host was also very nice.

Sixty people enjoyed a great lunch at Sam Snead’s Tavern with excellent service. We enjoyed the golf course view and dining in AC comfort on this sweltering day. The food was enjoyable too. Perfect event venue.

Food was excellent. Would highly recommend the Guac and Chips because the chips are baked with some cheese that basically makes a really nice nachos. Also had the Yellowtail Snapper which was excellent. Say outside and enjoyed the sunset and a rainbow. Atmosphere was great and the service was spot on. Food came out really quick and as ordered.

First of all Aldo was absolutely amazing as our server ! He made great suggestions and advice based on questions he asked us about what we would like to eat. He made my dining experience exceptional. As one of Southwest Florida’s pickiest diners he made number one on my list. Food was high grade and the golf view was amazing.

Sam Snead’s Tavern at Lely Resort is a great place with great employees and great views, along with a good menu. However, the decor reminds me of a 1970s Las Vegas Strip luncheonette. It’s obviously in need of a facelift; if nothing else, please clean the dust-filled ceiling vents and address the emerging mold issue in the center of the bar area ceiling, as well as a very much needed paint job and new ceiling tiles. It would make a huge difference in the outdated decor. Other from that I love the place. P.S. Give Kim a raise

Second visit for dinner unimpressed $40 steak was too rare sent back still not cooked well and dry! A burger and a petite steak should not cost $100 waiter not very attentive and forgetful! We enjoyed our two cocktails and view! Will not be returning!

Mushroom Soup Monday! I had lunch with Former Commissioner Donna Fiala yesterday because she adores the cream of mushroom soup Sam Snead’s features on Mondays; although we do eat at this wonderful restaurant other days of the week too. The food is always delicious, and the variety makes it hard to choose what to order so this visit I ordered Fish & Chips and it was delicious. Our server, David, was gracious, engaging, and knew the menu well, he even drew our attention to the new addition of the roast beef sandwich at the bottom of the menu so that is on my bucket list for our next trip; his service was excellent. Scott, the GM, stopped by our table and it was wonderful to have a brief catch up chat with him.
