Food was excellent. Calamari, pea soup, kebabs, lamb chops, salmon, potato sides all recommended. Service was a disappointment. We had encounters with a hostess, barman, and manager during multiple visits that were less than friendly and professional. It was not welcoming. There was a sense that we were irritating them and were barely tolerable while asking basic questions related to reservations, seating, cocktail ingredients. Not the kind of attitude or responses that keeps customers coming back.

Samba Loca is now our favorite restaurant in Carrollton. We sat at the bar because all the tables were reserved and we didn’t want to wait. The service was excellent. Drinks and all the food we ordered were fantastic! Highly recommended and will be at the top of our go to restaurants list.

Our first time here! So delicious. I got the shrimp stroganoff, seriously so impressed with how absolutely delicious it is. I thought the proportions were kinda small- BUT I couldn’t even finish my plate. My boyfriend got a ribeye, he said it wasn’t very tender but it had good flavor. The bread they bring our beforehand is delicious, I also got a berry sangria. This isn’t no Olive Garden sangria. You can actually taste the alcohol and it was very very good. We WILL be back! ❤️

What happened to Southern Hospitality?! The hostess was extremely rude to start and wanted us to sit outside in the August heat because there were “so many” reservations. The restaurant was completely empty for the whole hour we were there.

Visited Samba Loca during my first visit to Georgia to visit family. The lamb was the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. My only beef is that it was a bit warm inside the restaurant, but maybe that’s just part of the southern welcome. Go here!

Excellent. Rib eye cooked to perfection. Best cooked steak I’ve had this year. And I travel a lot. Brilliant barman waiter. Polite, attentive. Great wine choice as recommended. Argentina blend. Best meal out this year. 80 bucks for 3 courses and a 14 dollar glass of red. Go, you won’t be disappointed.
