I always thought there were 5 types of sushi: mind-blowing, good but served at very trendy place so its over-priced beyond belief, standard/fine, fear-of-getting-sick, and grocery store level (ok when very hungry and potentially is pasturized like the raw oysters at Hooters). I have never had this type of sushi: looked great, checked all the boxes, omakase option, special fish, chef creations, and then tasted like nothing. The rice tasted like nothing even, it was all bland. Even the hamachi with jalapeños app. We left a lot of food.

I’ve been coming here for the past couple years. I live near by and my moms office is near by as well so we meet here for lunch often. The service never disappoints. The host/waitress change often but they’ve all been great. The chef who I’m pretty sure is the owner has been so good to us every time we come in. He’s even made me my own special entrees I’ve requested. I recommend this place to everyone!

Same Sushi has a wonderful environment and sushi is served uniquely on a cut wooden block. The food was very delicious with reasonable prices. Their signature rolls were around $13 as the other more common rolls were around $9-$11

i really like the place, clean, i love it but the first time that i went was a perfect costumer service the blond guy was really nice with us but i came here for a second time and sadly the girl didn’t treat us good like a good waitress, i was a waitress for 3 years in a restaurant and that wasn’t the best, and I’m giving 3 stars just for my second time here… because the first one was perfect!!! But the second one was a little bit a bad experience just for the waitress:/.

Very disappointing. Bland and tasteless sushi. Probably some of the most bland inedible sushi I’ve ever had. I’ve been here twice and the first time wasn’t bad? But not great either. Today it was a complete let down. Very poor quality fish. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Hip sushi restaurant with modern vibe. Creative and delicious rolls. Expressive presentation, flavor, and quality. Recommend the Lotus roll wrapped in cucumber, Tokyo Drift, Jungle Fever, Seduction and the Same roll topped with lemon. Excellent seaweed and squid salad too. The sashimi martini rocked!

Near downtown location, at least the ample of free parking. This place the deco is very nice and comfortable. The food portion is generous and prices are reasonable. Other than the tuna, the other raw pieces are fresh.

Just in for the night for a quick business meeting and wanted to go somewhere close. The sushi was really good, CJ is an excellent manager and took care of service and is very warm and kind. Quick service and great pricing, keep it this way I’ll keep coming back.

Absolutely delicious! I expected ordinary, and was surprised with excellence. I ordered the ” 2 basic rolls and miso soup” and received more than I bargained I would receive at only $10. We also ordered the “Chirachi Sushi”; again, absolutely magnificent and beautiful as well, for only $17.50.
